I have been involved in the fitness industry since the age of 12 when I took my first group exercise class. I became certified at the age of 16 with Les Mills Body Pump. I pursued fitness in college and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University. I completed my internship at Westinghouse's Wellness Center where I taught multiple classes/day, helped coordinate incentive programs for the members, performed fitness assessments, and did some personal training. Currently, I am the Health & Fitness Director at the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA where I oversee Group Exercise, Personal Training, and Fitness Center operations (supervising 30 staff members) as well as teach Spinning and Body Pump. I volunteer at a local studio, the Body Shop, where I teach Body Pump and Body Jam. I also competed in a Figure Competition in 2007 and placed 2nd in my height class.
