I am currently teaching yoga and pool aerobics after 20+ years of teaching step, aerobics, weight training.  As I have gotten older I have come to appreciate the gentler sports and to realize that one doesn't have to beat ones self up to stay fit.  My goal has always been to have my students feel better about themselves when they leave class than they did when the came in.  I think it is very important to encourage others to do their personal best and not attempt to compete with neither the students in class nor the instructor.  I credit my health to the many years I have spent teaching and learning the correct way to exercise.
