Please take a few moments to read a bit about who I am and why I love what I do. My experiences are listed only has a sliver of what I do on a day-to-day basis to help change people’s lives. I’m fortunate enough to say that I have my ‘dream job’. Please consider me as addition to your team! Experience - Certified Personal Trainer, US Air Force Contractor, Dayton OH - 2008-2010 Assisted clients in setting, and reaching, their goals through both education and motivation. Developed nutritional outlines and aided in supplementation recommendations on an individual basis. Introduced a variety of cardiovascular programs to clients and designed continuous resistance training programs for each individual at each stage through reaching their goals. Additionally designed special programs to keep clients motivated on a non-physical level. These programs include: monthly group workouts with family and friends, monthly cooking demonstrations, move-to-lose challenges, running clubs, triathlon-training-tuesdays, women-only weight lifting demonstrations, on-line training challenges and corporate wellness programs. Group Fitness Instructor, US Air Force Contractor, Dayton OH - 2008-2010 Instructed various classes to include, Cardio Kick Boxing, Turbo Kick, Total Body Blast, Pilates/Yoga Fusion, Auqa Aerobics, Mommy & Me Boot Camp, Speed and Agility, Bosu Boot Camp and Indoor Cycling. Physically challenged 15-40 participants per class, 8 classes per week, to push themselves, safely, to new fitness goals. Continuously motivated class participants to make good health and wellness choices and educated them on various ways to do so. Personally, modeled as a Fitness Advocate on a daily basis. Group Fitness Instructor/Fitness Coordinator, US Air Force Contractor, Spokane WA - 2004-08 Instructed various classes to include, Cardio Kick Boxing, Turbo Kick, Women’s Weight Training Courses, Boot Camp, Cardio Sculpt and Indoor Cycling. Scheduled 70 fitness classes for USAF base’s Fitness Center each month. Maintained monthly time cards and certifications for fourteen fitness instructors. Handled all hiring, promotions and marketing for the fitness program to include monthly incentive programs for instructors, newspaper articles about fitness program, monthly to-go schedules of classes, informative Power Point slides on television base-wide channels, posters and information posted in the Main Gym and throughout the base. Hosted national fitness organizations to hold certification/training and continuing education courses at the facility. Hosted monthly meetings, and tracked progress, successes and concerns of the fitness program.
