I taught Kenpo Karate for over 10 years, and acquired the rank of third degree (San Dan) black belt,
as well as becoming a Sensei (teacher). Although I loved it very much, and it was really rewarding,
I decided to take a break from martial arts to work out with my son at the gym where I'm now teaching.
I enjoyed the diversity and energy of the gym so much, that I decided to get certified so that I could be the motivator for other fitness enthusiasts. I still teach self defense classes, and I also teach RAD and RAD KID classes, as well as self defense classes to women and men, children and elders.
Teaching fitness is truly the greatest job. It continually works not only your body, but your mind as well, because you're always moving as well as learning new things daily. Presently I'm teaching Yoga, BTS Group Power, BTS Group Core, Pilates, Step, and Cardio/ Cardio Kickboxing. Never a dull moment. I'm certified in AFAA Group Fitness, AFAA Kickboxing, BTS (Body Training Systems, MOSSA) Group Power, and Group Core.
