Aprilyn Goyzueta

Approximately five years ago, I discovered salsa music.  At that time, I was unaware of the huge impact this new passion would play in my life.  Over the years, I have taken and taught many salsa classes, master classes and specialty workshops. I brought my love to a new level when I joined the semi-professional dance team, Las Salseras de Lorenz (Lorenz Latin Dance Studio, Queens, NY).

At the same time - I started to take zumba classes in my neighborhood. My addiction to zumba was immediate and permenant. Months later, I became licensed to teach zumba, B1.  After spending the summer working as a substitute for instructors all over New York City and Long Island, I accepted a few part time positions in the evenings. (I am a public school music teacher during the day at this time).  In September, I received my second level of license, B2. Zumba is my passion and I continuously strive to deliver the highest quality zumba classes to my students.
