Ann-Marie Sepe

I became ZUMBA certified March of 2011 and started teaching not too long after my certification. I currently teach now twice a week at Lucille Roberts where I teach up to 100 women. I also instructed a special donation class for the American Cancer Society that I created called “Shake Your Buns to Drums,” where I had live drummers present in the room playing while we shook our buns! I addition to creating my own class, I participated in a Zumbathon for Breast Cancer Awareness where 3 instructors including myself each taught for 3o minutes nonstop. I sub all over Manhattan and the different boroughs regularly. My classes are at a high intensity level...you WILL sweat but will feel amazing after you are finished..  I also teach Zumba privately and  have gone to people's homes and businesses.

Not only does Zumba make me feel good but more importantly it allows me to help others to feel good. One of the most rewarding things about this job is seeing the same familiar faces in my classes week to week and hearing their stories about how Zumba has affected them in a positive way. I am a professional dancer in NYC and find it to be one of the most competitive businesses in the world. With Zumba there's no competition...and I LOVE it. In my class I enforce positive energy for the mind and the body. It doesn't matter who you are or what your background...Zumba is for EVERYONE. My mother had knee surgery and overcame Cancer and Zumba really helped her to feel good again. In my class it's all about leaving your Ego at the door and coming in for a great time! :-)
