Coordinator of Intramural and Recreation Sports
Oversee operations of the Intramural and Recreation Program areas including the climbing wall, basketball courts, racquetball courts, and laundry room. Collaborate and maintain a close working relationship with the Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science department, Outdoor Recreation department, and Athletics.
Selected Accomplishments
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate student staff that includes recreation desk, climbing wall, and intramural officials.
- Develop individual and team intramural sport offerings, climbing wall programs and special events.
- Supervise and coordinate facility reservations for special events, classes and other special use of the Wellness Center.
- Oversee the Wellness Center emergency procedures and work with the Safety Office to conduct emergency drills as needed.
- Conduct CPR/AED and First Aid courses
- Serve as the Wellness Center Student Voice liaison
- Assist with the preparation and management of annual operational budgets, reports, and financial tracking.
