Bernadette Whetten

Hi, my name is Bernadette Whetten.  I live in the small town of Star Valley, Arizona with my husband John.  We are both retired from law enforcement and love living life to the fullest!  Our motto is "you gotta do it while you still can", so we're trying!  I began my Zumba obsession in 2007 when a neighbor invited me to try a class with her.  After that class I signed up for a college semester of Zumba that started the next day........I haven't stopped since.  I danced with the same instructor for four years before her unexpected passing.  I realized at that time I was ready to step up, become a Certified Zumba Instructor and continue her passion and classes. I got certified in December of 2012 and I'm going strong!  I teach several classes a week but my favorite is at our local Senior Center to a group of 20-25 people of ALL ages. 

John and I love to stay very active even when we are home.  We enjoy collecting, showing and looking at classic cars, cruising in our Corvette or on our motorcycle, and of course travel!  We enjoy many resorts and cruising but have noticed there's never any Zumba offered and I miss out because it's what I love!  I teach to many different skill levels, and feel I can bring much to offer by getting people to move while on vacation but have fun doing it!  Come join me at Zumba and let's dance!
