Yin style is a long held passive yoga. We are working the deep connective tissues of the ligaments, fascia, joints, bones and stimulating the energetic channels of the meridians, nerves and the blood systems.

Currently I coach yoga from youth to active agers. Its a wonderful feeling when clients appreciate and let me know how awesome they feel after practicing yoga. Most challenging are the youth but its very positive feedback when questionnaires were answered unanimously.

I try to practice most days on my own and/or attend a yoga practice as a participant. I'm rsonating towards a more Yin style yoga these days. However I guide both the Classical Hatha (Yang) and Yin yoga.

With Covid lockdown, most of us switched different ways to connect with yogis vertually via ZOOM.

It was a great opportunity to slow down, reaccessed what courses or online workshops I could take to continue improving and also learn new techniques etc. I took online YIN workshops with Josh Summers, a Certified Accupunturist, a YIN yoga instructor. My knowledge of YIN is a definite help to my practice.  From the hot vinyasa style that I loved to practice, I'm now enjoying YIN practicing on my own as well as guiding/teaching yogis. Most participants enjoy this style of yoga. The long held poses are wonderful to keep joints flexible and mobile.
