Ira is passionate about connecting with you by sharing the numerous health benefits of yoga. With a commitment to individualizing each class, she incorporates a blend of strength, balance, and stretching poses tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant. Ira specializes in various modalities, including Yin Yoga, Hatha, Yoga Flow, Vinyasa, and Pilates, and is adept at modifying practices for different skill levels, including teaching yoga to seniors and those with physical challenges using chairs.

Since obtaining a 200-hour Yoga Instructor certification in 2020, Ira has been instructing in both an indoor and outdoor setting to children, adults, and seniors alike. She has been involved in the fitness industry since 1999, coaching athletes at both the university level and in schools from Grades 5-12.

In addition to her yoga practice, Ira is a seasoned certified classroom teacher and is on the path to becoming a Vice Principal. She frequently incorporates seated yoga into daily classroom routines, working with students of all abilities. Whether participants join to alleviate body aches or enhance their mental wellness, Ira is dedicated to helping everyone feel relaxed and invigorated. Let’s bend and stretch together!
