I began my fitness journey in 2006, after becoming an employee at an all-women's gym. I fell in love, and quickly became the club manager! I took some time off after having my children and moving overseas, but I started back up into fitness upon arriving back in the United States. I became a Certified Personal Trainer two years ago and have worked with at a small studio and privately, with individuals and small groups in multiple styles including circuit training, bootcamp, and HIIT. I also became certified as a Group Fitness Instructor and presently work at the area's largest YWCA. I began as the instructor for the YW Run Club, and now I teach multiple classes including Cardio Strength, Tabata, Cycling, PiYo, Silver Sneakers, and an all-women's bootcamp. I am also a small group personal trainer for a corporate wellness program. My primary focus is always on functional training with proper form to enhance one's life.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy marathon training, eating healthy, and having tons of amazing outdoor adventures with my family!
