 I originally became certified to teach group exercise classes when I was attending Illinois State University in 1996.  I have continued to teach group exercise classes since then in a variety of gyms.  Above, I listed the last three gyms that I have taught.   I have taught a wide variety of classes that include step, BOSU, strength training, HIIT, spinning, kickboxing, and Bootcamp. If I had to choose one area that I enjoy teaching the most, I believe it would be spinning.  I greatly enjoy motivating others in the cycling environment.  I love selecting music that can be motivating, inspirational, and mood elevating.  The second most enjoyable group exercise class for me to teach is HIIT.  I thouroughly enjoy the challenge that HIIT presents to a group of participants.  It is so much fun to see class members push through and complete a challenging class.  The sense of accomplishment that can be seen on their face is rewarding.
