Jenny Lehigh

I am a seasoned fitness and wellness enthusiast, social butterfly and natural motivator. I embarked on my career journey in 2005 when I began my higher education in food and nutrition. Once I finished with my BS in 2009 and worked for a couple of years in a hospital setting, I realized I needed to learn not only about healthy food choices and nutrition, but also the body and exercise. So, I continued my education in 2011 studying to obtain my MS in exercise science.

Fast forward 10 years and campus recreation/higher education is my full-time career. I love to travel, stay fit and feel good. I typically work out about four days per week but maintain a very physically active lifestyle on my off days. I began participating in group fitness classes and practicing yoga over 15 years ago. I have been teaching group fitness classes for about 10 years and teaching yoga classes for the past 5 years.

Currently, I teach one hatha yoga class and one circuit strength training class per week. About once per month I instruct a special event yoga class like Good Morning Yoga with a sun salutation series focus. I love to add a focused breathing exercise or read a poem during savasana. 

I like running, yoga, group fitness classes, cooking meals from scratch and reading. I am a very proud cat mom of 2, Buster and Oggie.
