Andrew Carter

Andrew Carter has been teaching in the fitness industry for 18 years. A Master Pilates instructor, he has taught students and teachers in the USA, South America and Canada. A former dancer, for nearly two decades Andrew has studied the bio-mechanics of the body and movement to create pilates, fitness and movement classes with the utmost precison to produce change, increase flexibility and to teach people their body's true "center" of strength and power. Andrew is also a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher and teaches both group classes, "Awareness Through Movement" as well as the one-one Feldenkrais class form known as "Functional Integration". In the Feldenkrais Method movement (either verbally or physically directed by the teacher) is used as the tool to work with the nervous system/muscle pattern habits to create new, more efficient patterns. In addition to his wealth of knowledge and experience, Andrew is known for his engaging friendly personality which is both entertaining and embracing of people of all levels and abilities.
