Candice was initially drawn by the physical benefits of yoga but it was the spiritual aspect that kept bringing her back to the mat and led to her decision to pursue teacher training 8 years ago. Candice completed her 200 hour initial training through Ananda Yoga Studios and thereafter embarked on an additional 300 hours of training at Paramanand Yoga Institute in India, leading to a 500 hour certification. She has countless teaching hours under her belt and loves to explore all the different styles of yoga e.g., yin, hatha, vinyasa and pre/post natal as well as family yoga.
She believes regular Yoga practice is key to a healing process and it means a great deal to personally share this process with others.
As an elementary school teacher Candice is a lifelong learner and yoga feeds into this in endless ways. She is passionate about teaching her students on the mat to embrace the connection between body and mind using it as a powerful tool to create change that is both internal and external. Her classes are rich with movement, breath work and asana as she injects her heart and soul into every practice and every student before her.
Her clear teaching style will put yogis of all levels at ease.
