I was born in Northland, New Zealand and my yoga journey begun lightly at a very young age with awareness of a book my mother owned that I would look through and experiment with the asanas. Yoga continued to thread through my life, joining in on classes through years of travel, and once home again. I finally settled back in Northland, NZ and into family life, marrying and bearing three children which exposed me to a new level of love and resilience. After business and family life settled I again revisited my love for yoga after a trip to Bali and re-igniting a consistent yoga practice, I enrolled with Jayayoga 200YTT. Since then Yoga is part of my daily routine.
I am also an oil painter and have always been drawn to large amounts of self enquiry, yoga philosophy supports this so I am continuously on this path of enquiry.
