Jeanine Cheney

Hello. I am single and reside in Upstate New York. I work a full-time job, own my home and am a mom to my beautiful rescue dog Rachelle. She is an English Springer Spaniel and has the sweetest personality. I adopted her 2 years ago after i lost my 2 collies of 14 years.  Yes, I am a furever dog mom. I have four siblings all are married, 3 are grandparents living out of state. I do care for my Uncle who is 81 years old. I enjoy volunteering within my community.  I have also volunteered for our local Ronald McDonald House.  At this time, I live a settled life style. I enjoy sewing, swimming, walking with my dog, fitness, and a passion for yoga.

I began my Yoga career in January 2017 was then diagnosed in April 2017 with breast cancer. A very emotional roller coaster. I knew I needed to find a way to be able to help other women through their journey which would be offering yoga. I went to Boston for my training in Yoga for breast cancer recovery and beyond.  Currently, I am working with individual women. The yoga practice is a specific focus on the lymphatic system, pain management as well as emotional. 

I am very interested in continuing my trainings in Pilates, Yoga sculpt and tone, SUP Yoga, and aquatic yoga.

My future goal is to retire within the next couple years to focus on my yoga career.
