Wild would be an accurate word to describe me. I have never wanted a 9-5 kind of job because I knew it wasn’t what I was here to do. So, I have been doing my best to live more the way I love. I try to be outside as much as possible and when I’m in nature, I feel most myself. I want to convey the message that we are limitless beings. I am a radical dreamer, a sacred rebel that brings the light of positive energy to the world through connection and movement. My favorite place is anywhere people are gathered to connect, breathe and expand their minds, body, and soul. I experienced anxiety, depression, and stress throughout my teenage years. This hardship changed me a lot, and also taught me so much about the world and about myself; my values, my passions, and my faith. I tried a variety of different treatments but it was my discovery of yoga specifically Ashtanga Yoga that aided me in finally recovering. I'm happy and proud of the person I have chosen to become. I am constantly trying to be a better human being and encourage others to do the same. I consider this my dharma, my life path. I try to practice what I preach and live by example. I want other people to know that no matter how dark life may seem there is always something to be thankful for.
Through my own personal experience, I have learned that yoga is an indispensable tool for the improvement of our lives. Yoga helps me feel healthier, stronger, and all-around happier! I am passionate about encouraging others to try it for themselves in the hopes they may experience similar benefits. For me, good health is about the balance and union between body, mind and soul. Yoga found me at a time when I feel I needed it the most, and it has become part of who I am and a way of life. I want to help people to feel confident in their bodies, and to feel empowered by what they can do. Even if you’ve never done yoga before, it is an amazing way to take care of your body and to calm your mind.
