I have been passionate about health and wellness for over 30 years, helping and inspiring people professionally to improve their lifestyle. At 18 years old, I started my own first group class and called it SHAPE. Within two weeks, 70 women joined. After graduating from the University of Physical Educations and Sports (Kyiv, Ukraine), I worked as a PE teacher for 4 years at the Academy of Tax and Revenue in Irpin, Ukraine. I am fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
After immigrating to Washington State, USA in 2000, I continued my education in Yoga, Body Work, Thai Yoga, Pilates, Nutrition training and more.
I obtained my Massage Therapy license in 2003 and have been successfully practicing for the past 20 years in Federal Way, WA.
In 2019, I discovered BASI Pilates Academy and completed 750 hours of training, becoming a certified teacher. I currently teach as independent contractor a fusion of Yoga Flow/Thai Yoga Therapy/Mat/Reformer Pilates/SHAPE 2 group classes and one-on-one sessions (totaling up to 8 sessions weekly) at the BASI Academy in Tacoma, WA. SHAPE class (fusion of strength and cardio dance) as part of Wellness Program at City of Lakewood, WA.
In addition, I am certified in Thai Massage, which is also known as Thai Yoga Massage and took extensive training and continuous education with the renowned Thai Yoga Massage instructor, Erick Spivack, in Soaring Craine, WA, to further deepen my knowledge.
I am also certified in Shiatsu massage modality, which is similar to Thai Yoga Massage. My continuous education training is from Ashi Thai with Deep Feet, Portland, OR.
All this training and education has inspired me to bring Thai Yoga Massage to couples, which can be a fun experience, in addition to the Yoga or Pilates classes. I have the experience teaching as independent contractor the fusion of Yoga Flow/Yoga Therapy in conjunction with Thai Yoga Massage. As a specialty class, I can offer Thai Yoga Massage for couples. Many people say Thai Yoga massage is like doing Yoga without any work. I will teach couples how to use hands, knees, legs and feet to move each other into a series of yoga-like stretches, which is very relaxing and fun, and as a bonus, can enhance a connection with each other. Alternatively, I could teach mat Pilates or a fusion of Pilates and Yoga, PiYO and SHAPE (fusion of strength and dance cardio).
My entire career has been dedicated to health and wellness. I love to share my knowledge about nutrition and educate people about the best hydration. My passion is to motivate and inspire people to live a healthy lifestyle!
