Amal started her fitness career in 2001, teaching group fitness classes, including step, high-low and sculpting classes. She is certified with AFFA.Amal began practicing yoga in 2009, and shortly after, accepted a position that allowed her the opportunity to travel all over the U.S. and try out many various styles of yoga. Returning home on weekends, she frequented many local studios and practiced with some of the greatest instructors in the community. Through a regular and diverse practice, she discovered the positive impact yoga had on her life, keeping her grounded during her travels, both mentally and physically. Eager to share the gift of yoga with others, she completed her 200-hour training with Amanda White in 2016. Amal provides practitioners a safe and compassionate atmosphere, detailed verbal cues, breath-guided meditation, and expert hands-on adjustments to help them deepen their practice. Amal works with students of all body types and fitness levels to develop customized programs and positional adjustments that increase skill, fitness, and well-being while helping students deepen their spiritual connection. Last year, she completed Trauma-informed Training, working with children in underprivileged communities. Amal hosts various workshops including chakra clearing, basic and advanced posture workshops, and breathing techniques. She recently completed training in Thai yoga massage in Thailand, and is currently offering that to her community.
