Hello, my name is Sonia, and I have a diverse background in wellness and fitness. I am an E-RYT500 yoga instructor with over 1,000 hours of teaching experience, a certified personal trainer, and a black belt in Taekwondo. I have a love of learning and a passion for helping others become the best versions of themselves through yoga, meditation, and personal training. I have worked with clients of all ages, guiding them through a variety of yoga practices and training programs to improve mobility, flexibility, strength, and overall well-being. In addition, I hold the following certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM): Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist, as well as other complementary micro-certifications. I also have a pre and post-natal certification with Babyfit, as well as my own experience as a mother of five. I am certified in Yoga Wall and have been teaching Standup Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga for almost 10 years. I have a love of traveling and practicing yoga in beautiful landscapes across the world. I have taught vinyasa classes for all levels in Zambia, Africa, and in Phuket, Thailand, and have hosted arm balance workshops for the local village yogis. I create and design personalized wellness and fitness plans that are fun, safe, and effective. I am dedicated to helping individuals of all fitness levels achieve their desired outcomes to lead a healthy way of life, and would love to participate in a program that combines my two loves, travel and yoga.
