Barbara Sroka began teaching yoga in 1998. She is certified in Integrative Yoga Therapy (1998) and has completed the Kripalu Yoga Teacher 500-hour Certification Program (2004). Barbara is also certified in Safe Yoga for Skeletal Health (2002) and Restorative Yoga (2006). Most recently she has been certified in Yoga Tune Up (2008) which is challenging, yet available to all levels of students. It breaks down classic yoga poses to address the nuts and bolts of human movement and in doing so, reveals overused and underused tissues to release and strengthen the body. Barbara is registered with the Yoga Alliance and holds their highest level of recognition both in her trainings and hours of teaching. In 2005 and 2006, she was contracted by Scholastic to write three articles on Yoga, which were circulated throughout the country to elementary and middle school teachers. Barbara's warmth and teaching experience support all levels of yogis.
