Over the years of teaching, I have come to believe that we need a good core to make it through the day with strength, balance and without injury. So I have created a studio where we focus on the core using various tools.
I enjoy teaching pilates and yoga because I think in these times, the mental focus is as important as the physical work. We like to say at my studio we can tone up and calm down.
But I also love the versatility of the BOSU and the stability balls. I like to incorporate them into my Pilates practice when my students are ready.
ChiRunning/ChiWalking has opened up a new world of mind/body work for me. I am excited to bring this form to people because it makes running and walking safe, injury-free, efficicient--and best of all, fun.
I have been teaching for several years now, but consider myself a student, too. I can never learn enough and enjoy the process. I can never tell people enough. They say when the student is ready, the teacher appears. So if you're ready, I am, too! i look forward to working with you.
