Kara Stafford

Kara began taking Pilates as a 14-year-old dancer. She fell in love with the work and began her apprenticeship at age 17 at Balance Within and received her certification through the Pilates Center at Boulder in 1997. Through the years she has also taught mat classes at various clubs on the Eastside while she earned her Associates of Arts and Science degree, as well as Associate of Arts degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound. In addition to teaching, she works as a pediatric sonographer at a local hospital. Kara enjoys teaching and watching her clients grow through the Pilates Method. When not teaching she loves dancing, running, karate, traveling, and playing with her two boys and husband.
