I have been a fitness enthusiast for years and enjoy physical education as well as outdoors activities.  I have been teaching Pilates and Ball Pilates for 3 years now, and also substitute in for cardio and strength training classes when needed.  My other interests include hiking - I hike Mt Washington in the White Mountains annually and have hiked Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa.  I also will be hiking this Spring on a week long hiking trek around and down the Grand Canyon.  I'm a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and have participated in volunteer trail crews where we worked for a week on trail maintenance and improvements.  I am also a running enthusiast and will complete my second half marathon this Spring. 

I pride myself in my upbeat personality and ability to provide inspiration to those that I work with.  I have a genuine interest for healthy living, nutrition and general peace of mind!  I bring a unique perspective to the fitness world as I spent the majority of my childhood and early adulthood severely overweight.  In college I discovered Pilates and healthy living, and have dedicated my spare time to motivating others to also adopt a healthier lifestyle through fitness.
