I have always been a fitness enthusiast, but didn't find my fitness niche until I began taking pilates in August of 2006.  Luckily, I started taking from an instructor's instructor who was truly amazing and made sure I correctly mastered each movement.  At that time, I had just retired as a trial lawyer to start staying at home with my two small children, and was trying to get my body back after having babies.

In late 2007, my pilates instructor encouraged me to become certified so I could sub for her and also teach on a volunteer basis at my church.  I started instructor training but had to stop & follow doctor's orders when I became pregnant with baby #3.  I discovered PiYo through a friend of mine and fell in love with the idea of pilates and yoga combined.  I was a true pilates devotee, but believe that PiYo is a wonderful mix of the best of both worlds.  I believe that it is also easier to modify PiYo routines to fit all fitness levels as opposed to just a pilates or yoga routine (which I can also teach under my PiYo certification).  I have been teaching PiYo since becoming certified in Feb. 2009 (by Powder Blue Productions - the company that has trademarked the name PiYo) and teach 1-3 times per week for a church that has a women's aerobic ministry.

In the Summer of 2010 a fellow instructor needed me to step in and teach stability ball class for her.  The attendees loved my class so much that they begged me to teach a class every week.  So, I reluctantly agreed and have taught a cardio stability ball class that is an all over body work out & have taught it for over 3 years now.  It is the most popular class where I teach.

I truly love teaching PiYo, Power Pilates & Tabata & Tone and would love the opportunity to teach at one of your resorts.
