My life focus has been on fitness, wellness, and helping others find the benefits of a lifetime of wellness.  As a student in school, I participated in cross country, track, volleyball, and tennis. When I left college, my interests started expanding to triathlon training, yoga, and snowboarding. I have taught at all levels: elementary through senior adults, public school, community college, universities, and public settings. My own fitness interests include: yoga, triathlon training, weight lifting, bootcamp training, hiking, and snow skiing and boarding. At the university level, I have taught bootcamp training and my students have achieved good results. I loved teaching it as a summer course, where we had more time to focus on training and nutrition. We met for 3 weeks, Monday-Thursday for 2 hours at a time. I have been teaching yoga for the past 4 years, as a credit course at the university, and on the side for the community. It has become one of my main focal areas to participate in and teach, and I continue to update my training.I hope to continue making a positive impact on people's lives as I teach fitness and wellness. I would love the opportunity to teach in new locations.
