J Keith Erickson

Keith Erickson offers a unique blend of eastern and western philosophies. Since beginning his yoga practice in 1997, Keith has spent more than two years traveling in India and Southeast Asia studying yoga, meditation and shiatsu massage. In addition to formal teacher training in Iyengar and Ashtanga styles (by Yoga Arts of Australia), Keith incorporates aspects from Kripalu, Sivananda and The Bihar School of Yoga into his classes. More than just an “earthy-crunchy spiritual type”, Keith is also an MBA and corporate finance consultant. This diversity of backgrounds enables him to understand and share the importance of bringing balance to life. That balance involves getting your body to the yoga mat and carrying the yoga spirit with you when you leave. Keith has led more than 1,200 yoga classes. His Vinyasa Flow style is a fun and energizing yoga practice emphasizing fluid transitions between postures coordinated with the breath. Presented in a calm, supportive and non-competitive environment the practice builds strength, flexibility and balance but also invites you inside to explore your sensations. Varying degrees of intensity are presented for each flow sequence, making the class both accessible to beginner students and challenging to experienced practitioners.
