I have a certification as a Personal Trainer through NCCPT.  Prior to that certification I held a NASM cert. I have been certified as a personal trainer since 2012.  I have done 1 on 1 personal training from about 2014-2018, but switched over to group training at Burn Bootcamp.  During camp I lead groups of anywhere from 15-50 people in a bootcamp from warm up to demo to workout to stretching.  Formats include circuit style, triple sets, pyramids, stacks, superset workouts and all can be HIIT, athletic conditioning, burst, tabata, and strength.  It is somewhat like personal training in a group setting.  I will make sure form is correct, I will do some exercises with them to help push them.  I train any level from never exercised before to the avid fitness enthusiast.  I will provide mods up and down to keep each member challenged at whatever level they are currently at.  I have worked at this bootcamp since November 2019. I wanted something a bit more energetic beyond 1 on 1 training!  I am 56 and have worked out in the gym since about 2010.  I walk the talk, working out 6 days a week to include HIIT, strength based workouts and old school lifting.  I still can outpace some of the younger crowd!!! Muscle memory for the win and eating a whole foods diet is key for me. I have a passion to influence people to ditch their poor lifestyle and see how fitness can transform your mind and body! It is a great feeling to see members from my bootcamps transform and the excitement and shock on what they accomplished with consistency and staying active.

One goal I had was to compete in a figure competition.  It was a learning experience but ended up winning first place in 2 classes and 3,4th in two other classes.  I love to share my love of exercise, moving and proper nutrition because I believe most people do not really understand how good their body can feel with the proper lifestyle.  Additionally I see every day that people do not have the confidence to do what their body is capable of doing.  With a little encouragement and "do you trust me" they learn that they really can do it!
