Linda Bennett – Yoga Instructor
Dr. Linda Bennett is a dedicated yoga instructor with a rich background in education and a passion for helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals. Since discovering fitness through a summer boot camp in 2015, Linda has immersed herself in yoga and fitness training, teaching across a variety of styles and to a wide range of populations.
Currently teaching at the Columbia Activity and Recreation Center, Yoga Sol Studio, and Wilson’s Fitness Club in Columbia, MO, Linda has taught over 200+ classes, including Vinyasa, gentle yoga, yin yoga, chair yoga, and yoga for athletes. Her unique teaching style incorporates functional fitness, Pilates, and strength training, with a special focus on creating an inclusive and supportive environment. Linda also enjoys working with specific populations, including athletes and seniors, offering classes like yoga for runners and Silver Sneakers.
Linda holds certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), YogaFit (RYT200), and is a member of Yoga Alliance. She has completed multiple specialty programs, including a Senior Fitness Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. Her extensive global travels have influenced her approach, combining a deep understanding of mind-body connection and diverse wellness practices.
