Ambika Devi MA a.k.a. Amy Ford is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher—E-RYT 500—with Yoga Alliance since 2008. She is a passionate Yogini, Author, Visionary Life Coach, Ceremonialist and Master Jyotisha.
Her interest in Yoga began at age six upon witnessing Gurudev Yogi Amrit Desai demonstrate spontaneous asana at a May Day Celebration for her school. At age seven she began her study of Yoga and Meditation with Mary Bode, a disciple of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar
She has taught and studied many styles of Yoga and Bodywork at the University level including: Amrit Yoga, Kripalu, Sivananda and Somatics. She continues to research and write about Relationships, Happiness, Health and Energy. Her current passion is brain-mapping the effects of Primordial Sound and Meditation utilizing unique brain-wave devices.
