Christina Kelly, ACE Group Fitness, ERYT 200, OSHA30 – brief biography. I was first introduced to group fitness as a teenager, taking classes at the local Gold’s Gym. I was soon asked to consider teaching by the director, as my background in dance and gymnastics allowed me to quickly pick up the techniques and combinations. I became certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in 1985 and have been teaching group fitness since that time. I have been teaching yoga since 2007 and completed my 200 hour training in 2014. I am currently enrolled in a 300-hour yoga training for completion of my 500 hour and Yoga NIdra training. In addition to teaching most types of classes, I also served as the Director for approximately ten years at Gold’s Gym in Columbia, MO. My husband and I married in 2004 at Couples Swept-away, I learned of Fit Pro Travel on this trip. We now go as often as our work schedules will allow. My Full-time work is in the construction field where I manage an excavating crew and I love it, but my passion is in Fitness. I strive to be a role model in all areas of health and wellness. My husband (Dr. Dan) and I have been blessed with so many opportunities to spread our love for fitness. Our hopes are that these travel/teach trips are more of a spa vacation or a wellness retreat for the people that participate. My approach to this opportunity is to promote our passion and purpose relative to fitness not just through instruction but also by demonstrating the rewards of this lifestyle through our image, behavior and social interactions with the guests.
Love and embrace your body-It is the most amazing gift you will ever own.
