Amazing energy there at this resort. Staff promotes fitness. Water is the best ever. Mo is the contact person and she is wonderful. Rooms are not plush but very clean and beds are comfy, food is great! Grace Bay something you need to enjoy. Transportation around island is easy shopping is great. Nice thing is that the snorkling is free twice a day out on the bay really great-- I've been to Cancun, Punta Cana, and Jamacia they cannot compare to the beach at Grace Bay in the Turks... Loved this trip International guests Italian and mostly French speaking but also many form USA. Blessed to be part of the energy there for my week.

I taught a slightly more vigorous Hatha style in the morning with an average of 15 participants. It was definitely a mixed age, athletic group. One day I had a few elderly attendees, so I kept us mostly standing so they wouldn't have to sit on the ground or be on their knees for too long and it worked well for all! In the evening I did a more restorative style, often focusing on hip openers since many people were quite active throughout the day (volleyball/tennis players) and they were wonderfully kind and grateful. I always incorporate a bit of pranayama and mudra at the end of class even if it's just for a few minutes and people voiced appreciation for that as well. Morning class only needed to be 45 minutes since there are more fitness sessions directly after, so I would alert folks of the time before I did pranayama/mudra in case they wanted to get to the next class or another activity. Most people would stay the full hour, and some would go right in after yoga to take the next class (including myself some days!). Everything worked out beautifully and I had the time of my life with wonderful support and feedback from guests and G.O.'s. Thank you so very much.

I visited this Club Med in July and it was glorious! Mo and Harrison, who run the fitness activities, were super fun and sweet. If when I was in my twenties I knew such jobs existed I would be living in paradise right now. The guests were so friendly too, I met people from all over the world. I would get 10-20 people in each class. There was sometimes a language barrier but as long as you are situated where they have a clear visual its all good. The food was fantastic too...Julien the head chef also doubled as MC. The staff seemed like one big family, a hard working family, but they always made me feel welcome. I would like to explore some other countries but I will absolutely be going back to Turkoise!

8:30 am class- met participants and class held in the Fitness Center 6:00 pm class- met participants and class held at the Dive Center dock Morning class- I taught a Vinyasa style class with music. Sunset class- taught a more relaxed class, where we held the poses and did a lot of stretching. Most classes had about 12 participants with a variety of ages, but numbers were lower on days people travel. I did love that I had a lot of participants that came every day for the week. Very easy to get to know others.

Working at all resorts was an adventure but packing and traveling multiple times per day a bit exhausting. Gorgeous properties. All classes should be at Alexandra where the pool is just right for big classes. and people should shuttle to them. No ads at the sister locations.

Teaching yoga there was wonderful - group fitness room for am Yoga at 8:30- 915 they have a very nice sound system..just brought my i pod and the cord was already there so plugged right in. Always a nice group of people for the class they have about 18 mats. Evening Yoga was at 6pm outside on the pier no music needed for this. Towels really do not work I tried to carry mats but it was a long way to hold them all. Made it work -had about 8 to 12 each evening for this. Tried in the sand but it was too soft. I 'd make sure there are mats on the deck as wood is uneven. Amazing energy there at this resort. Staff promotes fitness. Water is the best ever. Mo is the contact person and she is wonderful. I had a wonderful time at this resort in October of 2018. My I taught 2 classes each daybone in the morning inside the gym facility and one in the evening out by the scuba dock. Each class was about 45-an hour long. Attendace was adequate for each class setting. And the sports team staff was extremely inviting and helpful. I'm planning to return in May of this year.

Two classes/day, first one in the studio, sunset yoga on the beach each day. Participants ranged from 7 to 25 each day, with many "regulars".Great resort, with a great staff from all over the globe! Josi, the fitness manager, introduced me to the class the first day, and gave me a shout out at the fitness award ceremony. One of my best teaching experiences!

We stayed over Christmas, and the resort was packed. To me this location has a "camp" feel, with most people there families with adult children or groups of adults. It is not a romantic setting at all if you are looking for romance with your partner. You have to pay extra to eat at private / beach front for dinner. (Buy wine.) Otherwise it is loud group dining buffet mostly with one grill type restaurant. I suggest going right when food opens for best seating and options. Rooms are nice, but not luxurious. Amazing beaches. Best beaches I have ever been to. We had to stand in line WAY in advance to get a spot on sailing, snorkeling, etc. (Like 45 minutes - 1 hour in advance.) I don't know if that is how it usually is or just when we where there. We weren't able to get a sailing lesson as there were so many people there and only a few spots for lessons. There weren't enough lounges and umbrellas either - people would rush out in the morning to claim them. There were lots of amazing activities like the trapeze. Morning class was inside at the gym, very nice. Evening was on the dock but I had so many students (like 20-40) it was very difficult to speak loud enough for students to hear over the crashing waves. I suggest having students line up matching the direction of the dock wood. The dock is made with spaces so it would be easy to drop items into the water. Staff told me they prefer not to have the yoga mats out on the dock, but without it is hard to do yoga on the wood. They said we could use towels. I would suggest this resort for single people, friends or family, not honeymoon or romance type trip. It is easy to get a taxi from the front office to go explore yourself. I strongly suggest going to Coral Gardens - it is a short drive by taxi, you can rent umbrellas and chairs there and go snorkeling right off the beach and Coral Gardens has yummy food and drinks. A great way to spend an afternoon or a day. You can swim right with sea turtles. We also loved a day trip to Iguana Island. Very enjoyable, but hard to schedule due to the teaching schedule. I would go back again, but as a family trip or girl's trip. One plus was not many mosquitoes.

Such an epic experience teaching at Club Med Turkoise! The staff were truly special and I was SO impressed with how active the guests were; many of them took every one of my classes, essentially making it a yoga retreat for themselves! The sunset yoga on the Pier in the evening is truly spectacular and may quite be the most amazing location I've ever taught.

The beach and water in Turks and Caicos are gorgeous! Beautiful white sand beaches with crystal clear turquoise water that goes on forever. This was our 6th teaching vacation and the beaches just keep getting better!

There were many activities, day and night. The room was very nice and well-kept. The beach was spectacular! The people who worked at the resort were helpful and kind, and the food was delicious! Every night there was a theme meal & dress theme. Though the resort has scuba diving, I was unable to dive because of scheduling. Only one boat goes out per day in the early a.m. However, there are two snorkel trips by boat each day.

I taught a 45 minute yoga class in the gym at 8:30 am and sunset yoga by the beach at 6 pm. The morning class started with 6 participants but by the end of the week I had about 16. The evening class started with 3 and by the end of the week I had 8 or 9.This was my first teaching vacation and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely do it again in the future. Club Med is great and many people go back year after year. Very clean resort, amazing beach and great weather. What more can you ask for.

Wow what an amazing country to teach in. Yoga was twice a day 8:30 indoors near the gym and a sunset yoga at 6:00. I had 14 to 21 vacationing yogi's. Staff was amazing and very helpful. You won't regret this one. Long walks on the beach, includes scuba, snorkeling, sup boards and more. You will love, love, love it!!!

Taught here March 17-24. One 45 min class in the fitness centre at 8:30 . I taught a flow class and adjusted for the students that showed up. the 2nd class was taught on the pier at 6, and it was a slower, 30-40 min yin style class. All classes were very well attended (the fitness centre was generally full with around 8-14, and the sunset class was around 12-16 each night. When I arrived, the land fitness pro met with me and we went over the schedule. He said to teach whatever I felt the guests wanted. The fitness schedule is very organized and well attended. Guests are fit and easy to teach. Lots of new yogis but healthy and active. A few tips: the fitness room gets very warm. Adjust the AC when you arrive to set up. They have a great sound system. The sunset class is posted to meet at the scuba pier so we (my husband and I ) carried most of the mats down. The fitness pro said we could also meet at the gym and guests carry their own mats, return and clean (they get very sandy) but it was people would just wander over so be prepared. The pier is very windy and hard to hear over the wind and waves, so be prepared to walk around and teach off the mat. I had everyone in one long line along the pier facing toward the sunset and they loved it. Suggested we move to the flat area near the pier but they all wanted to stay on there. Overall had a great experience teaching and if you like lots of activities, you will love this resort.

I taught two classes per day, 9 to 9:45 am and 5 -5:45 pm. The morning class was in the studio, and was a more energetic, power yoga type class. A class that balances the Kapha dosa. The evening class was on the grass behind the gym, in the shade of a beautiful tree. This class was more relaxing and incorporated more Yin postures, to calm down the Pitta dosa. The number of guests ranged from 3 to 13, usually somewhere around 8-9. This was by far the best vacation I have had, despite having to teach two classes. The resort atmosphere was very friendly, and energetic. The staff are high energy, personable and helpful. Most activities were included in the price, such as yoga, zumba, aqua-aerobics, tennis, snorkeling, trapeze, and stage shows. The four was good, the other guests were friendly. My husband and I felt like we were in France, since 70% of the guests were from Montreal, CA. The staff all spoke two or more languages. We have made new friend and hope to keep in tough with them. I appreciated Suzelle's suggestion of taking $5 and $1 bill to tip the staff. I did not see anyone else tip them, but I felt it was fair, and they seem to appreciate it. The gift shop and boutique at the resort is expensive, so we bought a few gifts from outside stores. Remember to go to the Armada if you have time, it was fun. I would do this again, if I can.

Yoga @9am, 30min stretch class more than few people came 5-6 days and full class 13 max. Yoga @5pm, 45min Sunset at scuba dock... however it was hot and humid, looks like people had enough sun already stay at yoga studio they were happy. smaller group. I had special request by guests for paddle board yoga taught that too. Only one restaurant at this moment you will get all kind of buffet and it. Not sure when they reopen other restaurant. I truly enjoyed activities and if you are like me you should go! Beautiful beach and only adult.

I taught two yoga classes. One at 9:00 am on the tennis courts, with lots of shade and a nice breeze. This was more of a power Yoga class and really well attended (10-15 people every day). The second class was a gentle Yoga class at 5:00 PM. One day we did it on the beach, but it got pretty hot and there were lots of distractions, so we found a shady spot on the grass close to the fitness room, and everyone loved it. I consistently had 8-10 people in this class as well. The Club Med clientele is very fit and active, and all activities are well attended. This was an amazing resort. The fitness staff is super professional and helpful, and the classes were some of the best attended I've ever taught (this is my 5th teaching vacation). The beach and pool and grounds are amazing. The rooms are a little older, but we still thought they were awesome. I taught two yoga classes. One at 9:00 am on the tennis courts, with lots of shade and a nice breeze. 9:00 am at the beach and 5:00 in the shade. When it rained we had the fitness room (3X) Participants appreciated the classes very much and regulars returned at least once a day. 8-12 participants on average. This was a superb teaching experience. I brought my own mat as the mats they had were quite worn and used. There were no blocks or straps. New mats and props would be the only area of improvement that I can think of to enhance the teaching experience. Portable wireless music is nice to have. If you like water sports, or tennis this is the resort to go to!

I went in Feb 2017 and had a great time. The staff was excellent, the meals were excellent, and the beach was phenomenal. The resort was also easy and low cost to travel to and there were many activities to try.
