Travel days: Arrive Sunday, and depart the following Sunday, at any time. You teach your first class on Monday.

Your teaching vacation includes 1 adult companion, and up to 2 children ages 12 and under. The resort has a maximum of 4 people per room. Families of 5 are welcome, but must purchase a 2nd room. 

You cannot book consecutive weeks.

Perfectly located 20 minutes north of ancient and mysterious Tulum, and just 15 minutes south of exciting Playa del Carmen, Dreams Puerto Aventuras welcomes you with crystalline pools, hideaway beach spots and the shade of palms and thatched palapas everywhere. Water sports. Tennis. Bike tours and beach combing are favorites here. In the neighborhood you will find a great golf course, and a small market and shops full of surprises. But, you may not want to leave the resort at all.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya has announced the opening of Dolphin Dreams, a new on-site dolphinarium managed by the experts of Dolphin Discovery. The dolphin aquarium will not only be the largest of its kind in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, but the first in the world to have dolphins and manatees born and raised in captivity exclusively.

Perfectly situated in a charming upscale gated marina village, conveniently located just 3 minutes from nearby golf courses, 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen, 20 minutes from Tulum’s Mayan ruins and a 5 minute walk from Puerto Aventuras Dolphinarium.

Schedule for Fitness Pros (Tentative and subject to change)

Teach Mon-Sat. Resort hosts one pro per week either yoga, pilates, group fitness, personal trainer or zumba. If you are personal trainer then you'll offer small group training sessions incorporating stretch, sculpt, bootcamp skills and so forth. Don't rely on equpment at the resort please. It's unpredictable.

*Do not rely on the Explorer Club during your class time obligations. Babysitting is available for a fee and must be arranged if your child cannot be supervised by your companion.

I am a runner so I went out the front door the first morning to find that I was in a very affluent area. As I searched for the hotel after going longer than I meant to run, I came across a huge boat dock. It actually turned out to be the dolphin expedition and there were 20 to 30 dolphins and manatees at play. As it turned out, it was within 5 minutes of the hotel lobby! I loved the Oceana restaurant which is adult only.
As an update to the above, I've now stayed at Dreams Puerto Aventuras 3 times! I just love the quaint resort with high energy. And it is still a GREAT running area with my favorite little dress shop!
