As I wrote in Instagram everything has been perfect and smooth. Of course less guests because of Covid 19, but all relaxed and easy-going. Couples has kept the same Deluxe Standard as usual and I love feeling welcome home from the staff!!

I traveled the week of Aug 16, 2020. low occupancy at resort due to covid affects the number of students attending classes. I am well used to have different class occupancy and I take it well if no-one shows up, which was the case a couple times. In fact the students that attended my classes were not hotel guests BUT regular members of the fitness centre. They wanted me to stay for another week as they absolutely fell in love with ZUMBA!

I traveled the week of July 23d. Jamaica is very happy to see vacationers return. I flew into Jamaica during the covid-19. The country required a pre-authorization to enter. The process once we landed took about an hour, each passenger was interviewed. We were asked to stay on the resort and to have a wonderful vacation. We had our own shuttle to the resort, driver wore a face covering. Swept Away was amazing. The resort is spotless, staff are very diligent in their sanitation program. Staff are required to wear face coverings, but optional for guests. I felt very safe and taken care of.

I think the entire team is amazing! I wish I had found Fitbodies 10 yrs ago. The schedule on the Couples app was different than my schedule given by the staff so I'm not sure if that contributed to small classes. Be prepared for small classes the resort was at about 30% occupancy.

Our least favorite resort. Food is mediocre, unhappy and rude management in the athletic department, yoga space was very dirty, and grounds were on a busy street. The only perks are scuba diving and a huge beach if that’s for you.

If you are a group fitness style instructor, confirm the music setup for your classes, please. Taught Yoga and Pilates - two classes per day generally in the Studio 10:00-11:00 and 5:30-6:30. Tuesday and Friday am classes were 8:00 am Yoga on the beach and Friday 5:30 on the beach. Varied ages. Attendance was great for the most part - although the beach yoga classes tended to be the largest - @25. Studio classes averaged 10-15 for both Yoga and Pilates.

Plug and play but my phone didn't fit so I brought my own cube. Classes were held at the studio or on the beach, always at meeting point. Usually 12-15 people, all levels and very pleasant.

Most days were at the fitness studio 10 am and 5:30 pm, with the exception of Tues. 8 am on the beach and Fri. 8 am and 5 pm on the beach. I had regular attendance at the fitness studio of 6-8 people daily for both classes. Tues on the beach I had 14. Fri. only 2-3 people for both classes. In the mornings I taught a vinyasa flow class. For the afternoon class, I usually taught a yin or restorative class. I typically asked the afternoon class what type of class they would like and most often it was a vote for relaxing. Most of my regular attendees were older, 40's -60's. Every once in awhile I had a few 30 yr. olds.

I subbed for the Yoga instructor who was delayed in transit for the first 2 1/2 days, then did spin classes and bootcamp for last 2 1/2 days. Great set up. Donovan was very helpful in showing me the set up when I arrived. They are very organized and I appreciated that.

I had an amazing week at couples swept away. This resort has a mature tropical setting along the most beautiful beach! I had attendance at 8 out of 10 of my assigned classes. The 3 beach classes are heavily attended. I will definitely return here❤️ Love Negril ❤️

I taught a full body circuit class in the morning and afternoon, except Monday and Wednesday morning (that was spin that Donovan taught). I also taught a 30 min ab class in the afternoon. The aerobics room was spacious and had all the equipment I needed. It had fans and air-conditioning. I no one come the first two days, then I had a slow increase as the week went on. The most I had was three. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the resort was clean and had great food. The big draw the week I was there was tennis. The pro has a following and most of the guests were there for her or used the extensive weight room. My guest and I talked up class to everyone we saw but it didn't seem to help attendance. It appeared most people were there for tennis. I love teaching and was very happy to have even small class. The visiting yoga instructor was also a delight and is a seasoned veteran of Fitbodies and was very helpful throughout the week. Overall great trip and very fun.

Most classes are taught in the yoga studio. Three classes are taught on 7 mile beach. The am and pm classes were all attended. There were many people who came 3 or 4 times in the week I taught. Swept Away always in an amazing resort to teach yoga. This was my 3rd time teaching here and will not be my last.

Taught several different classes during week: Spin, boot camp, abs, Power Walk, and Sculpting. Also was to cover aquacize for Donovan while he was on vacation but it got rained out. Participants ranged 2-6 for each class. Also helped several people out in the gym/fitness center throughout 2 weeks.Everything is simplified now; cord is there for ipod and you just press play! Bikes were in good shape; used steps, body bars, kettle bells, trampoline, bosu ball, physio balls, dumbbells and matts for boot camp. Helped to bring old pair of sneakers for beach power walk - sand can chew them up.Staff is very friendly, juice bar is nice and well stocked in fitness complex. They also have a new interval timing clock in aerobics room.

Classes went very well the room is very nice and well kept. mats and blocks are available. I love teaching Yoga on the Beach. Classes varied in numbers of participants. My 6th time teaching here love it.Swept Away never disappoints. Love the Managers Cocktail party on Monday night really gives you the opportunity to network.

Taught at 9 am-10 am and then again 5-5:30 and 5:30 6:30 pm M-F. Rotated between spinning and cardio classes (Tabata, circuit training, kickboxing). Average between 2-6 participants, some of them locals who have taken class with me before! This is certainly our favorite spot in the Caribbean; we truly feel like we have come home. Would teach here every year for as long as they will have me.

My spin classes were by far the most popular. On Monday I taught spin at 9am (1 person), Abs at 5pm (1 person), Bootcamp at 5:30pm (no one). On Tuesday I taught Bootcamp at 9am (4 people), Into to Spin at 5p (1 person), Spin at 5:30pm (4 people), On Wednesday day I taught Spin at 9 am (10 people), Abs at 5 pm (no one) and Bootcamp at 5:30 pm (no one), on Thursday I taught Boot camp at 9 am (2 people), Intro to Spin at 5 pm (no one), Spin at 5:30pm (6 people), on Friday I taught Spin at 9am (6 people), Abs at 5pm (no one) and Boot camp at 5:30 pm ( 1 person). The equipment and the studio are fantastic. Bikes are in great condition. Lots of weights, bosu balls, and other items to incorporate into your classes.

I taught 10 yoga classes total, 3 on the beach, the rest in the aerobics studio. The times were just as listed in the FitBodies description. I had between one and 14 students. Surprisingly, the afternoon classes were much more popular than the morning (usually it's the other way around). The aerobics studio is well stocked with more than enough mats and 20 or so blocks. This listing says to bring a specific audio cord with you for the sounds system, but it wasn't necessary. They had the appropriate cord in the studio.

Just returned from a week of Zumba and HIIT classes. First of all, this place is absolutely amazing. The beach is spectacular and the sunsets are beautiful (well, the one I actually saw, as I was in the studio M-F). You are given a name-badge to wear so you can network. This helped me get a few people in classes that otherwise wouldn't have known it was going on. The facility is WOW - there is everything in there for you. It is, however, across a very busy street from the resort, but they have crosswalk guards to get you there safely. That said, the distance does keep most guests away, so I had very light attendance. No worries though, plenty of time to enjoy. The food is incredible and everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful if you need anything. I will say that the accommodations are quite rustic - you may want to consider an upgrade.

I taught at 9 am, 5:00 and 5:30 pm each day. I averaged 5 participants during the 9 am time slot and 2 at the 5:30 pm time slot.> No one ever showed up for the 5:00 pm class. > I taught a variety of cardio classes to include spinning, hilo aerobics, step aerobics, circuit training and a boot camp styled class to include tabata. Spinning and circuit training were the best attended classes.Teaching vacations are a great opportunity to visit a place you may not visit otherwise. It is also a great way to expand teaching skills because sometimes there are people in your class who have never taken that type of class before or don't speak english so it forces you to get out of your comfort zone to make the experience a positive one for them.

I thought 2 days at the beach and rest at the fitness center. I had anywhere between 1- 10 participants. I adjusted my style of teaching based on the levels of the students and time of the day as well as the weather conditions. On rainy days, I offered a more relaxing experience. I adore Couples Swept away for the location and ancient trees. It is just a little oasis with wonderful people.
