I taught Zumba, Aqua Zumba, and Pilates on the Beach, around the pool and pool side. Everything went well. It took a day or 2 to figure the routine out but then it was great. It was a great vacation. My pilates class was small but the guest weren't up at that time and no one was around from the entertainment team to help. After the first day I started pilates myself but, it was great. I never actually met the head of thr team but he was quick to respond to text. My zumba schedule varied between aqua at 12 or regular at 430 or 5. I would find out my schedule the night before. This was fine for me. Aqua Zumba was a different level of hot compared to where I teach at home. My tip make sure your sunblock doesn't run into your eyes!!

Yoga on the beach is great! Towels make for the best mats on the sand, anyway. Wonderful resort staff especially Willis! The E-Team and I walk around inviting guests to join class. Really smooth experience.

Yoga on the beach is s great! The entertainment team were fun and helpful. They work so hard taking care of guests and making their vacation memorable and enjoyable. I love teaching for Fit Bodies. It is the best gig for a fitness professional. I vacation multiple times a year because of these contracts that Suzelle and Fit Bodies have created for our industry. It is fun to meet people from all over the world. I'd be working out anyways, so I might as well do what I love and enjoy an incredible travel experience.

I taught yoga on the beach except for a day it rained and moved into the spa. I always walk around and invite guests to join class but the resort also posted the flyer. Staff was lovely, the entertainment team was initially tough to find. Teaching is a pleasure! I love meeting people from all over the world. The resort is immaculate, we chose to upgrade to Preferred Club and found it reasonable and a special vacation splurge!

I taught Group Fitness on the beach and used my own music and brought my own speaker. Otherwise the class would have been without music since no dj or speaker was nearby the teaching spot. The Entertainment team announced my classes, I walked around and invited guests to join, The Entertainment team walked around and invited guests to join. Favs: The activities/entertainment at the resort, Spending quality time with my companion/family, The Resort staff. Amazingly energetic and super friendly team! One joined my class every day! They made this trip so special.

This resort is beautiful, although rooms were a bit dated. The grounds are spectacular especially the pool and beach. I taught one class a day, an 8am yoga/stretch class and this was before the E-team arrived so they never attended my classes nor helped me with towels to my class location. Remembering to give extra time to gain towels and take them to the beach for particpants is necessary. I had a few days of 4-5 participants but most days I had 6-12. The beach location was shady and wonderful, some days with a cool breeze. WONDERFUL TEACHING LOCATION ON THE BEACH!! I burn easily and never had to apply sunscreen to teach so this was great. I also loved that class for 45 min and my day was done by 8:45am. I participated in volleyball, silent disco, corn hole and even utilized the tennis courts (which were packed sand and a little hard to play on.) The E-team was extremely friendly and I loved how energetic and fun they were. It rained quite a bit the first few days but overall it was a great trip!

This was my first trip to DR. I felt very welcome here in the resort. Nice and clean room, a lot of activities within the resort including tennis lessons and water sports, tasty food, and an amazingly long pool!

Our entire experience this summer was amazing! My husband and I were a little cautious about booking at first, but everyone at FitBodies was so helpful and relaxed that it put us at ease. Dreams was a phenomenal place to visit with our whole family. They allowed us to upgrade one of our rooms to a suite for only $50 a night. The staff was so wonderful--each morning I was greeted by staff who called me "Fitness Lady". They were super sweet and helpful. After such an amazing first-time experience, we are already looking towards our next vacation.

just finishing my trip here. huge, very well organized entertainment team at this resort and frankly, they really don't need help bc they already have an extensive program of activities every day, listed on a daily print-out (which was really nice). I ended up teaching aquacize 6 days, but the class was only half hour long. one day only 2 people, but otherwise I'd have 8-15, a nice lively crew. they usually also had Zumba or another aqua section each day, but told me not to worry about teaching more than once. I suspect that's in part bc I'm very obviously pregnant - even though I told them several times (and demonstrated while teaching) that this doesn't slow me down. (Side note: zika is still a thing, which I completely forgot about until my OB raised an eyebrow when I mentioned my trip a few weeks ago. I slathered on bug spray and didn't notice any bites so hopefully no harm done. but had I thought of this earlier I would have booked this trip at another time or gone for a different destination - just in case you are also expecting, something to consider). The nightly shows were very good, food was not as great or consistent as at Dreams Sands in Cancun, but still plenty of tasty choices. French place (Bordeaux) was the biggest disappointment - service was SO slow there, and it wasn't even crowded. also unlike the Dreams in Cancun, NONE of the restaurants seemed to have AC, even though some clearly had vents. maybe it was broken? it was sweltering - almost unbearable - in some of them. even the open air restaurants were super hot, which could have been helped w ceiling fans. not sure why the resort doesn't invest in this. this was our biggest complaint about the trip. thank goodness the AC worked well in the rooms! we paid extra for a bigger room knowing how small the standard rooms are for traveling w a family. It was very clean and housekeeping staff was prompt about servicing in the am. they also fumigate the rooms weekly, which I'm sure helps keep down the mosquitos. And the Explorer's Club was, as expected, an absolutely amazing perk for families like mine with kids under 12. Our kids were there for at least a few hours if not longer every day - tons of great activities for them plus a private enclosed kiddie pool and playground area. the main pool is also beautiful and huge. The live Latin singer at night was also quite good and the entertainment staff would often be there to get people up dancing, which was really nice.

I was the guest instructor April 1-8.I My contact Juan Gigante met with me shortly after I arrived and we discussed what I would teach. I taught a morning "Body Pilates" class on the beach Mon- Friday at 10:30. Entertainment team was present at each class to provide anything we needed. I taught on the beach under the palm trees. I did not use music as its was near the preferred sun beds. The sound of the ocean was perfect. The property itself is stunning!!!! The staff is absolutely the best! They go out of their way to make sure everything is "excellente" for the guests. I did not bring a young child, but the kids club here appeared to fantastic. The food was amazing! I highly recommend this resort.

My family and I just returned from a wonderful week at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa (6/4-11/17). Surprisingly, my responsibility was only to teach a daily 30-minute stretch class at 10a. Apparently, they have a local yoga instructor to teach the daily 8a class. I offered to teach a second format, but the Entertainment Team was satisfied with just the stretching. I would have five people per class, most of them repeat attendees. One of the E Team supervisors admitted that the time and format weren't ideal to attract traffic (also, the beach teaching area--lovely, by the way!--is at the opposite end of the resort where most people are having breakfast), but they seemed content to leave it as is. One member of the E Team usually attended the class as well, and helped attract participants. I handled set-up (placed towels on the sand, played music with my portable speaker, got waters, etc.) and clean up. The E Team was very easy to work with, indefatigable, and supportive. We did end up upgrading our room as the standard deluxe room is VERY small with two full beds and a small loveseat that doesn't fold out (none of the couches fold out), a small bathroom and little storage. You can have an extra twin bed brought in, but I'm not sure you'd have any floor space left with that. Enjoy! It's a lovely, lush property that we'd definitely visit again.

On the first day, the staff helped me get situated with towels on the beach. One of the staff went around and tried to get people to take the class. I taught 1 pilates class per day at 10am for 1 hour. The first day I only had 3 people but every day more jumped in and by the end of the week I had 14 people taking my pilates class. Many or them came back every day they loved it so much! I really enjoyed this teaching experience. It was my first time and I am planning on doing it every year at this resort. The staff was so helpful with everything and that made it a breeze to do. After the first day, I picked up the towels myself and set up the beach with 12 so people could just join the class without any fuss. I also kept a few more towels on hand just in case more came, and they did. I didn't need or ask for help from the staff after the first day but they did offer and remembered who I was. The staff was excellent!

I love to teach so don't get me wrong, but I only had to teach one morning class every morning, I had pretty much the same group of lovely people every morning and then I had the rest of the day and night to relax.. The resort was really beautiful and the people were lovely.. I had a lovely time, everything was wonderful. All the staff was more than happy to help, my one piece of advise is study up on your Spanish, a lot of the workers do not speak any English at all and this makes it a little difficult to communicate.. but other than that.. this is the best way to vacation!!

The staff is very friendly. I had anywhere from 5 to 8 students for classes. I combined the beginners classes that start at 10:00 am and intermediate classes that start at 10:30. Total teaching time in the mornings is 1.5 hours and there are mini tournaments at 6:00 every other day. This resort was very nice to work at.

When I arrived I was scheduled for Zumba at 3:30 pm on the beach, 4:00 pm on the stage if it rained. The first day of teaching they added a 10:00 am stretch which was also fun. Stretch had only 1 person on 3 days and 3 days of no show. I stayed for 15 minutes and then left. Zumba had from six to twelve and was 30 minutes long. I had a great time. The E team was very enthusiastic. The change from sunny day to rainy day schedule was a bit confusing as the weather during this trip changed mid day often times. A bit more communication would have been helpful as I was running back and forth between indoor and outdoor teaching locations just to make sure I didn't miss a class.

I taught one class per day at 9:00am -10:00 am. First on the beach had 4 then rest of the time beside the pool, and anywhere from 8-16 once day we didn't even have enough mats. No complaints it was a great experience! We did pay for the upgrade for the suite and access to the preferred section. I can't imagine going there without that. The food was just okay, not great. But we had a great time, lots to do and the shows at night were fantastic!

Very nice resort. A bit of confusion as they had a regular/local instructor scheduled. I taught the 8 am class on Monday, then a 10:30 class the rest of the week. No one ever showed up with towels for the beach yoga, but you can find them at the sports desk (or behind it if it is closed at 8am). Felix was my contact and very good to work with.

Wonderful experience at this resort, the staff were very helpful and the participants so happy to be doing some yoga on vacation! They resort has a regular yoga teacher M-W and I felt like the 4:00pm sunset yoga was an add on for me - it wasn't listed on the activity board and it was really tucked away and difficult to find. The morning classes were well attended and clearly appreciated. The resort itself was great, close to the airport, lots of wonderful food to choose from and activities galore! I'd be happy to go back!

I think this resort by far was the nicest resort we have ever been at with FitBodies for the past 9 years. The room was excellent, right near the beach. The only problem we encountered was we booked to arrive one day early, which also included all the transfers to and from the Airport and they had problems finding our reservation. FitBodies helped fix the transfers. So all was good.

I taught two tennis clinics each day that were 30 minutes. One was for beginners and the other for intermediate players. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. The love Fit Bodies because it enables them to have to rate instruction and also they value highly the gifts that we bring.
