Yoga was amazing. Taught every morning on the Gazebo overlooking the beach and the Sea. It did rain one morning and we relocated to a large patio outside, but under cover. Was magical to hear the rain, and then see the rainbows. I taught both Boot Camp & Yoga. For the Boot Camp, the gym was phenomenal, but I did bring my own speaker and music. There was background music in the gym, but not to a "beat" that I prefer to teach to. The speaker I brought was perfect.

This gym was absolutely stunning! I taught trx and bootcamp on opposite days at 10 and spin daily at 8:30. The staff were wonderful and very professional. The resort was perfect-the food was incredible and visiting Zilara daily was a blast. We will absolutely go back!

I met the participants at the beach gazebo and this is where the classes were held. The yoga mats and blocks were ready to go each morning before class. They also provided towels and water for all the participants. It was an excellent location for the class. The gazebo provided a bit of shade from the sun. Throughout the yoga class we enjoyed the sound & breeze from the ocean. I taught 2 Hatha Vinyasa style yoga classes each morning. 8:30-9:15 am Beginner's Yoga and 9:30-10:15 am Power Yoga. There were 15-20 people in the 8:30 am class and 5-8 people in the 9:30 am class.

Gym is incredible. Amazing resort. Bring your own speaker. Prepare to be flexible as I was told to prepare Essentrics and an Aqua class and taught stretch and sculpting instead. Fantastic experience overall and I WILL return.

Just came back from my first teaching vacation. I did two sessions a day 8am boot camp and 09:30 am TRX. It is a beautiful property and the gym is fully equipped. They have their own music which is a bonus so you can travel light, unless you do spinning, you might need to bring your mic. Maria the recreation manager and Tyson PT, they were amazing and helpful. Definitely I will go back.

Just returned from an amazing week at the Hyatt Ziva. Hands down the nicest gym facility I have ever seen in another country. I taught TRX, stretching and spin with good participation at TRX and Spin. The resort staff is amazing. both Maria and Tyson were a pleasure to work with. Had a morning schedule and the whole family loved the resort.

I taught 2 classes a day one at 8:15am and I did a combo of Pound and Pilates. I had an average of 5-6 people. The other class I taught was Zumba. I alternated between the adult resort and the family resort. The times varied also adult was 12:00 pm and the family was 4:00 pm. Not many showed up for Zumba but the entertainment staff got involved and pulled in participants ( they were amazing)I filled out the flyer online but the morning classes were listed as boot camp and stretch. I did the class I listed but adjusted to include stretch. The guests seemed to be fine but I had to explain every morning that it was not boot amp stretch. Overall such an amazing trip and the z crew was amazing

Absolutely loved my experience. The staff was wonderful, and great to work with. Classes were fun. Food was fantastic. Low capacity so our room was incredible. I am definitely booking this location again. Advise instructors to bring their own speaker, not just a cord if they are teaching with music in the gym.

8:30 am Yoga - well attended and grew through the week from 1 to 12 participants. 9:30 Bootcamp - only once did 1 person show up. One day did Yoga for both classes upon participants' request. One day was supposed to do an evening Yoga but management changed the time the day and then the space wasn't available so class was called off (no one showed anyway). No problem. Someone from the Z-team was always in attendance and there to help with setup. They were awesome. It was a great week!

Wonderful hotel and staff. I taught 2 yoga classes per day (8:30 am & 9:30 am) in the gazebo by the ocean. 1st class was busier than the second class with about 15-20 and the 2nd class had anywhere from 0-12. If it rains you can move it to a sheltered patio. The staff participate in your classes and they help set up by bringing, mats, towels, blocks and water to the class. They are very helpful and supportive. It rained non-stop for 2-3 days while we were there so we played every board game they owned. They provide games in the lobby, near the pool and in the sports bar and I'm sure they'd be extremely grateful for any games you could bring and leave behind. (Sorry, Clue, Uno, backgammon etc.) Rooms are well designed and very clean. There are many a la carte restaurants and the buffet has plenty of selection. Lots of activities to keep you busy, Bingo, Aquafit, Pool tables, ping pong, cornhole, Oversized Jenga, dance classes and the list goes on. It was truly a pleasure to work and stay at this resort and I would return.

The most amazing Entertainment Team. Every moment of instructing in Paradise was magical. The E-Team verbally encouraged class participation with you.

It was awesome. I was made a part of the entertainment crew and they were always a part of my classes. I taught 2 Zumba classes a day, once at 12 PM at Ziva and 4 PM at Zilara. I had anywhere from 3 to 15. I would definitely recommend this resort for teaching vacations. I kinda wish that they advertised Zumba more in terms of their sundials although the Z-crew (entertainment team) definitely let people know about the classes.

What an amazing place! And the Z CREW are FIYAH! I had so much fun teach Yoga at 8:30am everyday at the beach gazebo. The most I had for Yoga was 20 and the day after 4th of July, I only had 8 people, everyone was tired. Then I taught ZUMBA® by the pool at noon or at 4:30pm. It all depended on the weather. Some days it was too hot to do ZUMBA® at noon, so we moved it to 4:30pm. Then on 4th of July, as part of the festivities, we had ZUMBA® on the beach, and I had about 25 people for that. The days it was really hot, I would have 8-10 people on deck with me, and 10-15 in the pool while I did ZUMBA®. The key is to be flexible. I loved Maria, and I hope to return soon to this resort!

Taught an 8:30 a.m. Gentle Yoga and 9:30 a.m. Power Yoga. Fantastic resort, Beautiful grounds, amazing staff! The resort was less than 50% occupancy while we were there so it was pretty quiet. Classes were held in gazebo alongside the ocean. Wonderful participants from all over the world - some doing yoga for the first time!

This was my second teaching vacation in Jamaica. Great resort, amazing food & very friendly staff! Maria, the entertainment manager was very easy to work with. I absolutely loved teaching at the Gazebo, overlooking at the ocean. I made a lot of new friends with Zcrew members, my classes participants & fellow FitBodies instructor. My family had a great time too & we can't wait to go back.

I taught between one and two classes in the morning (yoga 8:30 a.m. and boot camp 9:30 a.m.). Yoga class was very well attended, between 15 and 30 participants, boot camp 4-6. This was the finest resort I've taught at out of all of them. The resort, class schedule, food, ET and guests absolutely spectacular.

Hyatt Zilva was a real treat. I taught two yoga type 45 minute classes each morning from 8:30 and then 9:30. I had anywhere between 6 and 8 guests. I taught on the beach with some shade. Very lovely spot. Staff helped me with bringing over mats and blocks. I fetched the towels. There were a couple days when the posting in the Sundial were inaccurate (posted Boot Camp as my second class). The students who showed wanted the yoga so I obliged with the students. I usually go to Secrets so this had a different feel but still top shelf. There were more singles than you'd find at a Secrets. The property is still undergoing some renovations that began a few years ago but all that has been renovated is 5 star quality. Its also linked with Hyatt Zuma (Sp?) the family resort so it's a huge property with lots of offerings regardless of what side you are on. We loved nearly all the restaurants. It was the Jamaican staff that made the whole place - sweet, authentically warm and hospitable, and fun. We will definitely go back!

It's beautiful, & relaxed & the food and restaurants were great! The staff was super nice & helpful. I love teaching her & will probably go back.

I had an amazing experience at the Hyatt Ziva Resort in Montego Bay! I taught Barre at 8:30am & Bootcamp at 9:30am. Each class was at the gazebo right next to the ocean. This was an incredible location! The Entertainment Crew were so helpful & very friendly! I had a different amount of guests in my classes throughout the week. They really enjoyed Barre, I brought resistance bands to use too and they loved this! I would highly recommended this resort! I don't think I would change a thing! My first experience was so wonderful and I can't wait to do it again!

This resort is amazing. The people that work there are incredibly helpful and friendly. I miss them! Maria and her whole team are fantastic. They were very flexible and easy going. It's always all good in Jamaica. The service, food, and overall ambiance was incredible. I have to eat gluten free and they were so accommodating . They treated me like a celebrity the whole week. It was fantastic.

Amazing resort. The E Team was super friendly and helpful and I loved that they actively participated in my classes. This was my second teaching vacation at the Hyatt Ziva and both trips were top notch 10 plus . I love the location where the classes take place. Yoga on the pier overlooking the ocean is superb and there are stairs to use as props for boot camp as well as a ramp so you can get the participants really working.

Wow! Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall has definitely been by favorite location thus far (of 3 vacations)! Their property is amazing, they have several restaurants and a great buffet! And if you have children, this place is a no-brainer! They have all kinds of activities for kids. The rooms seemingly all have great views. Classes are very well attended. I taught my largest class ever on Memorial Day. Staff is very freindly and accomodating. 5 Stars all the way.
