I brought my own speaker for yoga and used it for Aqua Zumba once but it wasn't very loud. I did connect with their larger loud speaker but you need an auxillary cord to connect or a computer to play your playlist. The resort staff was phenomenal. I was disappointed in the resort's inability to announce my classes. The spa only had a small area to conduct yoga and didn't have many yoga mats (and they weren't clean). When I first arrived, I was told to go to the spa to learn my schedule and all they had me scheduled for was a 1/2 hour Aqua Zumba class. On Monday afternoon, I learned that I was supposed to teach yoga at 8am, AZ at 11:00, and Zumba at 12pm so I only taught AZ on Monday. Overall, I was okay with my schedule (not having anyone show up for Zumba at 12pm) because it was hot and I was overheated from AZ at 11am.

Yoga class is mostly on the beach or in the gazebo. One day we had rain and the morning class was held in the back of the gym. I used my phone and Bluetooth speaker for music. Wonderful, attentive staff! Totally great vibes! The resort is amazing! It provides guests with a mix of pure relaxation to a day full of fun activities: boating, excursions, games and night activities with great piano bar hang out and great dancing venue. We joined their Halloween party and my partner and I won the best couple costume! I enjoy having to get away for the fraction of a price and be able to do what I enjoy most teach yoga! There wasn’t any out of the ordinary except I was scheduled for 3 classes a day. they were not long classes but it's usually two classes at other resorts.

I love teaching on vacation and this was a great week. Class was held outside the spa and on the beach. I used my own bluetooth speaker for music. Really great time with my companion! Thank you.

It is an incredible experience. The beach was great and as well as the food. I love traveling and teaching and it was a great experience. This was my best vacation, and I cannot wait to book another one. This is so great. Yoga class was in the studio. They have mats and blocks. Seriously, amazing. Thank you!

Beautiful week in Jamaica. The resort is small, the staff is very friendly. I had a room ocean front, with a cute balcony. The morning class was busy and students came back from day to day. However, it is a challenge to find yogis for the 4pm class. Best latte at the Irie Café. My yoga class is held in a gazebo or on the beach - perfect! They have Manduka yoga mats and blocks. And towels, too, which make great yoga mats. My students were wonderful, had quality time on vacation, great food. What a lovely opportunity.

Hi I taught Yoga in the Spa, Garden, Gazebo and Sunset Bar. They have wonderful Manduka mats and blocks. Locations for yoga were instructor choice and no music because all classes taught outdoors. My classes were promoted with Fit Bodies, Inc. flyer, Printed activities schedule, I walked around and invited guests to join, Activity Board. I LOVE the time to relax and rejuvenate, teaching while also on vacation! The Resort staff is amazing! Booking is easy and I'll do it again within 3-6 months. The entire staff was amazing. Teaching vacations are wonderful. Jamaica never disappoints. Can't wait to book my next trip. We had a very smooth trip. Negative covid test needed to enter Jamaica along with authorization from Jamaica.

Great resort, friendly and helpful! I had a great week. I had participants in all classes and the staff were helpful at all times.

Jewel Resorts are wonderful and this one did not disappoint! I'm so glad to have taught yoga here for two weeks over the winter. The sounds of the waves during class is wonderful! Everyone was great to work with and I also felt like I was a guest at the same time. DEFINITELY I will book again soon. THANK YOU

aradise Cove is an amazing resort with a terrific yoga studio just a few feet of the rhythmic waves of the Caribbean Sea! Paradise Cove has straps, blocks and mats for all participants. There were a few yogis every day, at every class. Beautiful studio and beautiful resort

Amazing place to teach yoga! This is the first resort that I’ve been to that has blocks and straps! Beautiful sunsets, waves crashing against the shore, birds singing ... a wonderful place to find your zen! Bring your snorkelling stuff as it’s like an aquarium right off the shore. Fun water sports and a water slide! Delicious food and a smoothie bar! I’ll definitely come back!

2 daily yoga classes. 8 AM well attended (from 3 to 8 people). 4 PM yoga/meditation less well attended (2 folks or none). This was my second week in Jamaica, so I knew that I had to be proactive about promoting the classes. I posted the flyer at the watersport's center. The resort listed the times of the daily classes in their daily flyer, which was distributed to the guests. Chatting with folks about the classes was the best way to get guests to participate!

I was given a wide choice of lovely places to teach and used them all. Very good equipment Mats , Blocks and Straps. Good attendance and great help from staff. I did not use music as most of my classes were outdoors and we loved the sounds of the ocean. Great place to teach.Beautiful Resort and a really helpful staff. Emphasis on fitness and health. I have been there 2 times and love it.

Classes were 8 AM and 5 PM daily. My average group was 6 to 8 students for each class both men and women of all ages. Some were new to yoga and others had experience. I tailored the class so that everyone could benefit. In the AM we went on upper deck in the PM to the grass. Both however were ocean views and modified sun. You meet at the gym each time to collect the mats, straps and blocks. Students showed for every class. They really like yoga at this resort. There are 2 Jewel resorts here a mile from each other. One is families and the other adults only. As an instructor I taught only at the adult resort. But they had me stay at first in the family resort and they provided ride back and forth and then they later moved me to the adult resort and then back to the family resort for the last night. As an instructor expect to stay at both resorts but teach at one because they sometimes get unexpected guests and need the rooms. All in all both resorts are wonderful and the beach at the family resort was a big nice beach and the beach at the adult resort was very nice more like a cove and great for snorkel. The staff and checking in and out was very smooth and professional. These resorts are elite, very clean and organized. I really enjoyed my stay. I also received a massage at the Radiant Spa; was exquisite. There are many excursions that fit in with your time off from teaching so do explore them at the desk. Check out margaritaville.

I taught at the December Yoga/Wellness Retreat with a 2nd yoga instructor from Fit Bodies. My morning classes were at 9:00 for 6 days and my afternoon classes were at 4:00 for 5 days. The morning classes always had the most participants with 10 to 15 and 1 day I had 20. The afternoon classes were smaller with 3 to 8. The rain kept us inside for a few days in a yoga room located in the same building with the gym and spa that accommodated as many as 17 and had an amazing view of the beach. The last day we had class on the beach in the sunshine. There are other locations available at JPC for classes on the patios at the gym (front, side and back) and at the Sunset Bar when there is no rain.

Spinning 8am and 4pm, six bikes, two to five participants. No participants on Friday (Friday is a travel day for most Americans). Resident pro (Bishop), appreciated eating breakfast with us every day. If room was locked, can get a key from the spa. Get some bottles of water from the lobby for participants that forget. Bring your own sweat towel from the room. The speaker is wireless, I used my cable most of the time. Get there early to turn on the AC, the remote is in the cardio room. Bishop said there are two other bikes that need repair. Next teaching pro should take pedals for a Schwann IC Pro.Highly recommend Jewel, Paradise Cove. It is laid back, not crazy like I thought an adult only Resort would be. Plenty of cultural evening entertainment, great July 4th party. Great staff. Great restaurants. We never left the resort, once.

The resort had a low occupancy so not many players. 2 classes 8:30 and 9:30 am. Mostly taught at 8:30. Had 2 people most days. The resort for the cost is a very good value. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We upgraded to an Ocean front room and it was very nice. Food was good, no top shelf alcohol but not a big deal.

Just got back from a week at Paradise JPC. Staff couldn't be better. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I upgraded to an ocean front king for $350 extra. Definitely worth it Room was quiet and had a great view. Resort was well maintained and easy to get around. I taught tennis 8:30-10:30, occupancy was very low so didn't teach until Thursday. Not exactly an a m. Tennis crowd if you know what I mean. Courts were just resurfaced and play great. Food was good, not great. Buffets were better than expected. Restaurants not so much. Jade was fun and the food really good, once is enough. Great smoothie bar on beach. Definitely a good value for the money. I've taught at Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita twice so my standard is very higj.

The facility has to hard courts. The courts of fenced-in with a high wall along the doubles alley on one quart. Excellent for warming up on the wall and getting people new at the game started. Management is well aware that the courts need to be resurfaced. In the morning if damp the courts were to dangerous to play on but once the sun came up good and strong and they dried up they were passable. Balls are at a premium and whatever your gift is as a tennis professional please add 10 cans of balls that'll give him two cans a day new balls for match play. The resident Pro is more than willing to help you with your own personal game every afternoon he has a hit with the procession that often goes empty. Keep in mind this Resort is on the North Shore of Jamaica in the winter the waves you build up along the coast but the Cove protects the water area for recreation. Had a couple of days the lifeguards work hosting kayak surfing around the cove very very cool. The entire staff from groundskeepers to executive chef will go out of their way to make your stay outstanding. The entertainment manager puts on a great show during the week every evening something else to do. There are plenty of beach chairs shade trees refreshments and volleyball right at your fingertips everything is closed. The swimming pools whined around the facility as if you were staying in a tropical Venice again very very cool we'll go again.

It was a great balance of teaching spinning (6 bikes in a designated studio overlooking the water) at 8 am and Yoga at 4 pm. Spinning I had between 2-6 participants, both new and experienced. Yoga I had between 5-14 every afternoon from new to experienced as well. I taught the Yoga on the quiet pier surrounded by water, perfect!! I did teach spin m-sat. and Yoga m-f. This resort was very organized. The front desk had a preliminary schedule for me which they were happy to adjust as I was originally scheduled to teach body sculpt in am, switched to spin. My poster was up Sunday, shortly after I arrived. Very smooth and well run.
