While this was my 17th teaching vacation with Fit Pro, it was my first to Cap Cana. It was truly a magical experience for any yoga professional. I had an average of 25 people per day and they arrived early to be able to set up their mat and be ready to go right at 10am. Classes were an hour. Entertainment staff was great..extremely professional and so proud of their resort. Someone met me every morning with the mats, and while I set them up and talked to the guests, they would get waters for everyone. I always bring music just to be prepared, but did not use it as the sounds of the ocean are perfect. As for the resort, Secrets CapCana is beautiful. The beach has sugar white sand and is great to walk or run which we did every day. All of the restaurants were excellent and as a fish lover, I was in paradise. Every day they grilled fresh fish on the beach. The staff was amazing - no matter what job a person had, they were always helping guests. Will definitely be back here. Thank you Fit Pro for the wonderful opportunity!

Book this resort NOW! What a wonderful experience I had this July. I taught one class daily on a quiet corner of the beach. Every morning a member of the fabulous hard-working E-Team brought mats and towels to me under a tree on the Preferred side of the beach. Classes were small and intimate. The room we had was spacious and luxurious. (The shower had two rainfall heads and could easily fit four people! ) There was extremely low occupancy in July . This did not effect the quality of service in the least bit. Great activities, wonderful restaurants and attentive service as always.

Had a fantastic trip the end of March. Yoga each day @10:00 am with up to 30 participants! Lots of shade and the participants basically just went where they were comfortable - first time teaching yoga in the round!! Love the resort, food, room (upgraded to avoid looking at the ongoing construction next door - new HUGE Hilton resort), friendly staff and the Entertainment Team is super fun!

I’m just on my way home from a week at Secrets Cap Cana where I had a wonderful time overall and an especially fantastic time teaching. TEACHING: I taught a 40ish-minute yoga class at 10 am every morning with 4-15 participants each day (the resort was quite empty, which was lovely). The location for classes is the corner of the beach area (with no real shade, other than some palm trees) and the entertainment staff kindly brought over yoga mats and towels every morning. So easy and wonderful – all you need to do is show up and teach. Couldn’t ask for anything better! Classes were a mix of experienced yogis and newbies. RESORT PROS: Gorgeous, huge pool area and impeccable grounds/landscaping throughout the resort. Extremely attentive poolside wait service and lots of bars everywhere. Very large, wide beach area (but see below for some downsides). Excellent breakfast and lunch buffet at Market Café with endless options and lots of vegetables/healthy fare. Large, well-appointed gym and fabulous spa (don’t book full price – either take advantage of the “daily deal” on the iPad or take the entertainment team up on their offers to get you a discount on a regular spa service). Super strong and reliable WiFi everywhere. Extremely few animals/bugs/birds etc. A quick 15-minute drive from the PUJ airport. Overall, very friendly service and a fun, professional entertainment team. I tried aqua biking on Tuesday and Thursday (taught by a local professional fitness instructor) and it was fabulous! RESORT CONS: Rooms were OK but nothing special by Secrets standards. Service in restaurants was always friendly but very spotty – we often had to wait for a long time, and half the time we didn’t receive (some or all of) the items we had ordered. Food was OK but not as good as e.g. Breathless Riviera Cancun or Secrets Playa Mujeres, and vegetarian options were virtually non-existent (I had steamed mixed veggies as several dinner main courses as none of the dinner restaurants had vegetarian main courses). The beach was very dirty with seaweed so swimming was not appealing. Also, the beach doesn’t extend far in either direction so you can’t really go on runs on it; we walked as far as we could and were back at our starting point in 20 minutes.

Secrets Cap Cana is a beautiful property. We were able to enjoy an upgrade to Preferred Club with the quiet pool and beach. There is also a more energetic pool with activities most of the day. The breakfast and lunch buffets were amazing with every food option you can think of. The coffee bar was very popular too. We enjoyed every aspect of our time at Cap Cana! With the beach breezes blowing, there is no need for music. Someone from the entertainment team arrives every day 5 or 10 minutes before class to deliver mats and towels. Then they return to pick them up. Such a nice service!

This resort is absolutely gorgeous! We have visited 9 resorts through Fitbodies and this one has my heart for sure! The resort is beautiful & the entertainment staff is awesome! Even though there was a seaweed issue along the beach it did not affect our perception of the beach at all. It is stunning! We found a spot at the infinity pool that over looked the beach and we spend the majority of our day there! We also took the opportunity to kayak, play beach volleyball & take a bike tour to the marina. We will definitely be going back to Secrets Cap Cana! We miss it already! Oh and make sure to visit Mr. Obama at the Spa! He will give you a great deal ;)

I teach one class at 10 am at the beach. The view was amazing with nice breeze from the ocean . Every day I had about 6 to 8 people in the class. People from entertainment team did bring mats, towels and water. Some Yogis were very athletic, so I taught multilevel class with modifications for beginners.Beautiful upscale resort, excellent service ,good food. I would defiantly come to teach there again.

I taught a Yoga class each day at 10 am. The number of participants varied from 8 - 15 per day. The mats, towels and water were brought down each day by the E team and removed after class. E team are a great help. The hotel is wonderful with a fantastic beach. The staff go out of their way to ensure your complete satisfaction. The food is good but not excellent and the bars serve top shelf brands. Night entertainment was very good.

I taught 45 minute classes everyday at 10am on the beach! I was there shortly after this year's hurricanes so the resort wasn't at full capacity but classes ranged from 3-14 people! In each class I had at least 2 people who had never done yoga before which was fun! This was my first time teaching yoga with Fit Bodies and Secrets Cap Cana was the perfect choice!! I highly recommend this resort to any teacher, but in particular to a new teacher to Fit Bodies. EVERYTHING was taken care of - I just had to show up before class and teach!! The E-team is amazing at this resort. Not only is the E-team amazing.. the whole resort is. Rooms, beach, pool, and FOOD!

Secrets Cap Cana is an amazing resort! I just returned from Secrets Cap Cana for the second time since they opened. I taught yoga at 10:00am each day and had between 9 - 27 participants daily. It was another unforgettable week at SCC. I cannot wait to return for Christmas.

This resort is absolutely amazing from the room to the food/drinks, and the entire staff is incredible. I would definitely recommend anyone to teach there and plan on going back myself possibly next year.

No words can describe this amazing resort. Beautiful beach, great entertainment staff and lots to do. I taught yoga the week of May 7th everymorning at 10:00 in a shaded area on the beach. Mats are brought down for you and I requested at the beach bar bottled ice water for my students. I taught a variety of types ie flow, hatha, yin/yang and we practiced a few special poses. My classes ranged from 6-20 and many repeat students daily. Classes are 45 min long , and I sometimes I went over a bit for extra stretching. Modifications are a must as you will get a variety of people from not experienced to experienced. Everyone that came loved the yoga and said it really helped them to feel stretched out for the day. The restaurants are amazing you will not be disappointed in all they have to offer. Must try the yogurt. We took two half day excursions one was a rain forest jeep tour and the other was a marine swim snorkel both were fantastic. This is my first time with FitBodies and we are returning again in November. They truly make it seamless so you can work and still enjoy your vacation time.

I would recommend this resort to anyone and everyone! I taught yoga here April 9-16th 2017 and the e-team were incredibly helpful, fun and upbeat! I really enjoyed Mr. Obama, Joy and Beyonce especially, they were really kind, encouraging, positive and very team oriented. Each morning at 9:50 or 9:55 they would come down with a huge stack of clean folded towels and the yoga mats and help set them out for the participants. At the end of class they would come back and help roll up the mats and they would actually put away the mats. I always helped with the set up and take down of the mats and towels even though they insisted I didn't have to, they really didn't want me to help but I really wanted to. Class is at 10 am every morning in the shade by the main pool. I had 12-15 participants each morning of varied levels, some whom have never done yoga and some whom have clearly practiced yoga for years. I encouraged participants to work at their own levels and I demonstrated many modifications to be as accommodating as possible. Classes were 45 minutes in length and all participants seemed very happy with that time period. Amstar transportation is very easy and fast and professional. This was my 3rd teaching vacation with FitBodies and every time it has been seamless and a true pleasure. Secrets Cap Cana has the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The food at the resort was incredible, the staff were kind and skilled, the grounds were stunning, our room was really nice with a king size bed and double rain shower and pool view with partial ocean view. I have nothing but positive things to say about the resort, the staff and my FitBodies experience. I welcome anyone to email me with any questions to [email protected] Thank you.

Loved this resort! Cap Cana has it all. Great pools, beautiful beach, fabulous restaurants and excellent location. Our room was spacious with a great location over the main pool. I taught yoga every morning at 10 AM. The entertainment crew brought the mats daily. (We often started with standing poses because they were often delayed). The spot on the beach where classes are held is in the shade and the sand is packed so it is perfect for classes. The gym is spotless with all the equipment you need. The breakfast and lunch buffets were excellent. The fruit selection cannot be beaten. I will definitely be returning

After a delayed flight because of fog, we made it to this beautiful Juanillo Beach! The Amstar transfer was waiting for us with a sign of my name, and the van had my name in the window too! I never did meet either of the contact names I was given, but the rest of the E-team, especially Mr. Obama and Diva knew everything I needed to know. I handed in my posters, but there are no bulletin boards at this resort. All the buildings had a tv with daily activities but I found that hard to read. The yoga was on the beach, under the trees, beside the infinity pool, scheduled for 10:00 am everyday. One morning it was very rainy and I found it difficult to track down anyone from the E team to find out that the yoga was moving to the disco - that fact wasn't common knowledge to anyone and only 2 guests showed up. (I suggest they put the rain-out location in the daily newsletter) My first morning, I had 14 guests then the rest of the week (except for the rain out) I had 20 to 24! Someone from the E-team would bring the mats and towels out (I helped them) and we were beside a bar for participants to grab a water before class. They would roll them up and put away after. I taught all levels for 45 - 50 minutes, then competition for noise gets really bad - they play bocci near by, the party boat is in the ocean and beach people start gathering. We were given a lovely King room on the 2nd floor of building 3. It was a great location to be close to everything - and, looking through the trees, I could see the ocean! Getting chairs in sun or shade was never a problem and we ate outside at all the restaurants, except the Japanese - you needed a group to get the outside table there. We loved all the food and the house wine was fine with us. All the staff will go out of there way to help you. Do take lots of small bills to tip. I did the finger painting on Monday morning ($10 US if you wanted a frame). We were able to do the 4:00 bike trip down to the marina. It was interesting and fun. We've been to the Punta Cana area 5 times so we didn't do any of the external trips. Hanging around the resort and beach was enough. The beach was awsome and we walked daily down past Little John's. We considered stopping in for a drink, but at $7 US for a beer, we could wait to get back to the resort! (The only thing I disliked about the entire place was the air-freshener machines they have all along the lobby, as I am allergic to perfume) I'd return here in a heart beat!

This resort was unbelievable and probably one of the nicest beaches I have ever seen in Punta Cana. I taught yoga to 10-24 per day on the beach at 10am on the beautiful white sand under a large tree in the shade. The guests were just wonderful. The E-team brought the matts and were extremely helpful and kind. My room was spacious and I got to know many people just from my class. I cant wait to return here and teach again.

Taught 10am yoga on the beach under a large tree each morning. Entertainment staff brought the mats each day! Had between 12-25 students! Beach is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Resort is still working out the kinks but was a great teaching vacation!

This place is awesome. It was only open for 4 days and 1/3 full when arrived. Jose had me teach one yoga class at 10 on the beach under a big beautiful pine tree. The most perfect beach for yoga as it has the finest sand that was flat and hard packed. My classes had from 12 to 24. The great e-team brought mats and towels down to the beach everyday. This place is so nice. The best beach I have even seen. A giant stretch of the finest sand that is perfect for walking. The water is the sweetest turquoise color and is calm because of the off shore reef. You can walk out straight for about 1/4 mile in about 4 feet of water. The pool and surrounding areas are amazing if you are done with kayaking, sailing, SUP, snorkeling and staring off like you in a corona commercial. The food was great. Enough options for vegetarians. My girlfriend went on some excursions at scape park just ten minutes from the resort and loved them and felt safe by herself. I just couldn't leave that place. I cant wait to go back. The room was fabulous with everything you could need and even a tub on the balcony. I was upgraded to an ocean view room. I could have stayed on the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean all day. First class all the way with this place. I'll be back.
