Secrets Montego Bay

I absolutely LOVE this resort!! I've booked it, I think, 8 times. Fit Bodies makes it easy to travel and have an affordable vacation.

Mario and Ms. DelaRose helped a great deal as the schedule changed during the week due to conferences, change in format, and other instructors not there. They are fabulous. There was a huge change over in staff from last year since Hyatt purchased. I knew 3 of the former entertainment staff but they had moved to other jobs and the ones this year were new, but enthusiastic. FitBodies is a wonderful resource for fitness, musical and other professionals who want a luxurious vacation while also sharing their passion with others. Over time, Ive learned that connecting with the entertainment manager and hearing what they want makes a huge difference - they know what makes their clientele happy and what keeps them coming back year after year - so I always adapt to what they say. It gets better and better.

Yoga was held on the pool deck. Lots of tropical sounds so no music was needed. Great experience It was wonderful. Resort guests loved The classes

Class is outside and there are plenty of beautiful sounds without getting music for class involved. The E team, when I met them, was very very nice. They didn’t get involved at all. I didn’t see them. Vacation teaching is a gift. It was thrilling to meet Suzelle. Erica’s assistance in transfers to resort are so helpful.

I had very great experience by teaching people knowing people and meeting more incredible people! Life is short, super good way to use my favorite work to spend on! Enjoy teaching vacation very much, very appreciated you guy’s hard working and setting! Hopefully sandals can get more comfortable to book, then I will book right away! If not 100% guarantee my husband can’t go

The food is great, The beach is amazing, Teaching while also on vacation is something I LOVE! Hotel staff were phenomenal - friendly and helpful. The ET staff was helpful but did not engage much with me. I had a great time teaching, looking forward to my next trip! I had a positive experience with traveling to Montego Bay

I taught Aqua Zumba! Super great! They had a speaker that I connected my ipod onto with an aux cable. I loved the activities and entertainment at the resort, and teaching while also on vacation! The food is great. I've been to this resort numerous times, I personally know a lot of the entertainment team and the staff so that was definitely a plus. Stayed here in 2016 and looking at going again. I taught a 30 minute Aqua Zumba class. Our room was on the ground level right next to the pool. We had all the same luxury as our friends who went as well. Food was great, staff was amazing! Access to neighboring resorts was also a big plus!

What a great way to relax and rejuvenate. The food is great. Plenty of yoga mats and towels and cleaner. Class is promoted well with the flyer but it's important I walk around, introduce myself and invite guests to class. Amazing E-Team. I'll book again within 9 months. Once again thank you Suzelle for the wonderful opportunities to teach in so many beautiful countries. Our trip last week to Mo Bay Secrets may have been our best yet! We were there in 2012 and 2013 but this year was just incredible! The resort entertainment is the best of all Secrets we have been to and the New Years Bash was over the top! It all began with a beautiful steak and lobster dinner followed by a dessert buffet that would make your head spin. After indulging we made our way to the beach to listen to a beautiful violinist play until 10pm. After that two bands played on a massive stage (which took all day to set up) and at midnight the firework display was AMAZING! At 12;15 DJ Nico took over till 2am. We danced in the sand all night. Bars were set up and an all night buffet of food was also available after midnight. The teaching was fantastic! Most mornings (except New Years Day) I had between 20-30 people for yoga. At 5pm I ranged between 6-18 for HITT Pilates. The resort does need more mats. Only 10 mats. Those who came from Breathless brought their own which were supplied in their rooms. We were able to go to the new Breathless whenever we chose. We had a drink on the roof top bar ( the views were fantastic) and one afternoon we went to watch a Bob Marley revival band which was outstanding. We could have gone for dinner but enjoyed our restaurants. The service was impeccable and the resort was spotless! We did stand up paddle, kayaked, played tennis etc. So much to do! The quality of the food was outstanding. Jerk chicken everyday. Five spots to eat lunch. Snacks all day long wherever you went. Top quality alcohol and the coffee was my favourite part. The staff go out of their way and the nightly entertainment is the best of any Secrets we have been to. I love the piano bar and you are are always outside which we love. Please tip the staff as they work very hard all day long. Try this resort out. You will not be disappointed. Ramona Gellel

I taught a pretty basic water aerobics class...steady state cardio with some higher intensity intervals mixed in. We averaged about 10 people per class. I would say the age range was 30-50. Teaching at 12:30 is rough; it gets pretty hot on deck! We got rained out on Tuesday. Everyone was fun and supportive.

What a blast! This was my first *aqua teaching vacation and it was so fun. I taught M-F at 12:30 at the St. James pool. My tip... if you make a playlist...put about 10 minutes of fun songs you won't be using. They start playing your music about 10 minutes before class to get people in the mood. If they would move the class to 11:30 they'd have a much bigger turnout. By 12:30 people start heading to lunch so it's hard to keep them there since they've been drinking since 10am. Pick fun music like Jimmy Buffet, Zac Brown, latin or 80's music and keep the moves easy. Most guests don't want a hard workout...they just want to move and dance :) The resorts are fun. I loved the location on the bay. The piano bar every night was super fun. We met a lot of great new friends. I'm counting down to my next teaching vacation. Thanks fitbodies.
