Fantastic resort with really helpful staff. I never did meet with the E-team manager, as he was not available throughout the week, but M&M and Uptown Baby from the E-team helped me find the yoga studio! They promoted my classes and provided collegial support.
I taught Pilates at 7:15 on the beach and 9:15 at the Ocean Gazebo. The rest of the day was mine to enjoy!

This was my second teaching vacation. This resort was a great value for being able to bring a companion and two older kids. Yoga teaching schedule was 7:15-7:45 on the beach and 9:15-10 at the gazebo on the water. I liked having the two classes in the morning and then being done for the day. Classes were well attended! I usually had 10-12 participants and met some really interesting people! There were only 2 classes that I only had 3 people at. A couple things I would love to offer my honest feedback on were the location we did yoga on the beach. They have a pretty large beach area but where they had me teach was right in front of where they grilled chicken in the afternoons. This made for not the cleanest area to have yoga. There were lots of pieces of charred wood scattered that I really couldn't do anything about. Another thing that was difficult was getting the supplies. We used towels for the beach and mats for the gazebo. The only person available to assist was the entertainment manager. He had two separate days off (which is great...yay for days off!) But this meant that I had to lug 12 towels back and forth to my room and 12 mats back and forth to my room on not just the days he was off but the day before (so I would have them) and the day after. If my husband hadn't been there to help me I would have had to make multiple trips and it wasn't close. As for the resort service, there were a couple days we were on the beach that no one came to ask us if we needed anything for over 3 hours. My kids loved the buffet! We also went to the adorable cafe and had the BEST cake ever every night after dinner. The rooms are spacious and our balcony had two chairs and two loungers. We loved the option of hanging out on the balcony and having the loungers there. Overall, it was a great value for four of us.

It’s a win win to be able to teach and vacation at the same time. Great experience! Class was on the beach adn yoga room. Spa music was played. The experience as always was wonderful and I look forward to it again.

Taught yoga on the Beach and Gazebo (and yoga studio if gazebo was unavailable). It was my third time teaching at the Jewel Grande and I loved it. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful resort to teach at. Was scheduled to teach Spin daily at 8:15am and 4pm. I only taught one 4pm class as no one showed the other days. Morning classes I had between 2-5 guests. The Spin room has 12 bikes and a Bluetooth speaker. Make sure you have your music downloaded as the Spin room does not have internet.
Kevin from the E-team is fabulous! He made sure the bikes had towels. I would stop at the coffee shop to grab water bottles for the riders. Definitely needed as the room has no A/C or fans.
Loved everything about this resort, restaurants, beach, pools, entertainment and staff are all top notch. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. I truly enjoyed my week teaching Spin and definitely will be going back.

I taught 2 morning Pilates classes, 7:15 am at the beach and 9:15 am at the ocean gazebo. Kevin was helpful with any questions. I had the rest of the days relaxing in this nice resort.

Fantastic place to stay & teach...I taught 9am spin & 4pm HIIT...class numbers were on the smallish side but the people who came tended to come the entire week. We were lucky enough to get a 3bd, 3ba suite! Restaurants were all very good. There are a LOT of steps at this resort. Evening entertainment is top notch. The only suggestion I would have is to have our flyers on display....the hotel only has an app to promote classes & I learned most guests don't utilize the app. A few guests were upset to learn there was no yoga! Beautiful grounds leading to an amazing beach area too!

This is a great straightforward teaching assignment with no surprises. It's too bad the classes can't be in the gym because the guests were really hot outside even in November! The gym is really nice and has a spin room, so the guests seemed a little confused we were not in there, but the manager said it gets too hot and loud.

Everyone was absolutely amazing at that resort. Their fitness program and how they deal with Fitbodies is very organized, and the guests tend to attend more classes here than at other resorts I've visited. It was amazing, as always.

Kevin was absolutely amazing and helpful with making sure everything was ready to go and ran smoothly for both classes. Hands down one of the best teaching vacations we have had and can not wait to do it again soon! Spin bikes. For tabata class mats and weights were available to use. Resort provided a Bluetooth speaker.

I was allowed to use anything from the gym. Specifically gloves were used in my class. I used my phone and connected to their speaker via Bluetooth. The Entertainment team announced my classes, I walked around and invited guests to join. I don't even know where to begin. The staff was exceptional, professional and truly amazing. I felt instantly welcomed as a part of their family. Thank you For Bodies! Thank you for encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone. Wow! This was an amazing experience to be able to teach at this resort. This resort was spectacular and the staff was incredible and the food and the entertainment was sensational. Beautiful views and the local people are super friendly. Kevin was fantastic along with the rest of the entertainment staff, a big shout out. kevin,micah, carmela, Delano and suzie. I can't wait to go back.

Some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Everyone was super helpful with my classes. Jewel Grande is such an amazing resort. The Fitbodies team makes it so easy to book your trip and helps every step along the way. I truly enjoyed my time teaching and relaxing in Montego Bay.

The staff at this resort is awesome. The entertainment manager, Kevin gave me a very quick tour and his instructions were fast, so I recommend whoever teaches there just be sure they are clear on instructions around towels and mats on the days that Kevin is off, especially. My daughter and I had a wonderful time and my classes were well attended. I've never taught in such a beautiful location. Thank you, Fit Bodies! I would love to see some US resorts and more resorts with a higher age limit for children.

The staff was very accommodating of any requests that we had. Kevin, the fitness manager, was willing to help with anything but didn’t hover and let me do my thing. I connected my music to the bluetooth speaker resort provided. Book early! This resort books far in advance!

I keep going back to Jamaica because of the people - hotel staff were exceptional! Jewel Grande was the most luxurious resort I have stayed at yet!!! I highly recommend it. Kevin the fitness manager was excellent. We got along really well & I think he is fantastic! Teaching yoga on the beach, gazebo and studio are all beautiful settings.
