The hotel staff and entertainment team were all very friendly. We paid to upgrade our room because they had us in the very back in the kids section. We paid $300 to upgrade and the room was great. I love vacationing with Fit Bodies. I would otherwise not be able to travel as much!

Alex, asst Manager for Eteam is great. His team members, Letisha, Paco & few others work so hard to get participants for aqua, dancing lessons volleyball. Class was mostly on the beach. While the resort is outdated, the beach, snorkeling and the staff are awesome.

We flew into Cozumel, took the ferry across to Playa, and then the collectivo to the resort. Safe and cheap. I couldn't remember what I had signed up to teach, and I couldn't find this info. The schedule was posted in 3 different formats, and each was a little incorrect in a different way. I also taught a stretching class. This isn't listed as an option. I taught in the Core Zone and terrace behind the pool. Often I had really good participation. The E-team helped me promote classes and we all invited guests to join - really a little bit of schedule confusion can be good because I personally told guests about the correct class times and ensured they felt welcome to particpate.

Yoga is on the beach and on the garden. It was perfect, no issues. Employee evening classes did not happen and the employee morning classes for my 2nd week were cancelled due to not being on the employee schedule. Guest participation for yoga was very high.

Taught group fitness in the area by Sharkey's Bar. Staff brought a speaker for class each day. I loved the time to relax and rejuvenate! I'm not sure I would book here again relative to how much I have enjoyed other resorts a bit more. But a lovely experience and caring staff. Thank you Fit Bodies!

Entertainment Team was amazing. very helpful in bringing the mats and speaker ahead of time. Although my main class was bootcamp, participants were expecting more of stretch/yoga type of thing. So I had to re-program the workout depending on who the participants were on that certain day. On the day that I had another class late afternoon which was Zumba, guests were not really into another workout when they were already tired, and also some guests were out for excursions. But I still had 3 participants plus 2 ET staff joined in. This was wonderful!

SUNSCAPE AKUMAL is one of my favorite resorts of all time! Yes, I know there are a lot of better known name resorts out there, but what Sunscape Akumal has cannot be built. Location! location! location! This ocean front location is wedged between Akumal and Tulum, with a reef that is filled with a wide assortment of sea life! All you have to do is swim right out from the beach and you feel like you are in a high end aquarium. Sunscape Akumal is the place to be if you want to experience many varieties of fish in their natural habitat. I’ve been traveling for Suzelle and Fit Bodies Inc since 2002, and as someone who has enjoyed countless resorts in many countries, I found Sunscape Akumal a very special place.

Hi I taught yoga either on the grassy area poolside or in the theater on a day it rained. the E-TEAM is AMAZING and even met me at check-in to go over the schedule of morning classes. they have a speaker my phone connected well with and also plenty of good mats and mat cleaner. The E-Team helped promote classes and put together and clean up class each morning. THE'y ARE AMAZING! Working with a great team makes a difference and I'm fine at other resorts when the E-Team is unavailable during class time, but it is nice to have someone present for support. Can't wait to book again!!!

I taught yoga on the beach. They have plenty of towels and cleaner. Classes were promoted well and I walk around introducing myself to guests and inviting them to join. Great food and great relaxing time. Everything was awesome!

I taught Zumba by the pool, using my phone for music and connected it to their bluetooth speaker. Fit Bodies is great to partner up with for a wonderful teaching experience away. Very professional, and everything went smoothly from booking to my arrival home.

The beach is truly incredible. You're right on a reef, so you can snorkel and see a ton of underwater action. It's not too wavy, so wonderful if you're taking children and want them to be safe near the water. There are free snorkels and kayaks to rent, which I'd highly recommend (although don't kayak to the reef itself, my husband accidentally flipped his and got cut up pretty bad). We took a right at the beach and were able to walk about a mile to a dolphinarium and have our daughters swim with the dolphins. The entertainment team is very friendly and sweet and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. I only taught for one hour/day in the morning, with 3-8 guests. There was a HUGE iguana that would come right up to my yoga mat each day. There were actually a number of iguanas near the pool where I instructed. This is a 3 star resort, not a 5 like others you can teach at through Fitness Pro Travel. If you want a drink, you need to stand in line to order. We upgraded our room and paid extra based on the reviews we'd read online (I'd recommend checking those out). The fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning in the buffet was really good. Lastly, I'd recommend taking the "bus" to Playa Del Carmen. It's super inexpensive and fun to walk around. (I always enjoy trying to do what the locals do and seeing what normal life is like for someone who lives there).

I taught 1 yoga class per day from 9:30-10:15 or so. The style I taught was a beginners type class focusing on form and technique. I avg between 8-16 participants per class. I had participants from 8-75 years old!

The first class was on the beach but we all agreed it was too sunny and the ground was too uneven. As I was their first yoga instructor they let me choose where/when to teach. Even though it continued to be advertised as being taught by the beach, someone waited there to redirect them to a nice shaded spot by the pool which worked out perfectly.
