Hilton La Romana Resort and Waterpark

I love this resort and staff. The entertainment staff participates in all activities as well as helps with all equipment and Bluetooth speaker. There are tons of water sports, including sailing, SUB, and more. The resort security is top notch. I have been twice and look forward to the next experience.

I will give Fit Bodies a 5 plus stars review! Everything is so smooth, from the moment you open the website until the moment you get back home. It is an amazing process and the selection of places to go is simply fascinating. Every vacation is a great experience! Thank you for all you do!

Hi, I taught Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Kids Programming. Class is on the beach/ocean, at the pool. I used my phone and aux cord, as well as bluetooth to their big speakers. Everyone at the hotel was wonderful and extremely kind and helpful. The entertainment team was absolutely amazing and helped with everything related to classes while also participating and creating the most fun environment as they got guests to join in. They MC'd my classes and introduced me and even thanked me at the end of each class. They were the best! Hilton La Romana was my first teaching vacation and I highly recommend this resort! I travelled with 2 kids and my husband and the kids loved it just as much as we did! There was a waterpark with waterslides, amazing restaurants, a gorgeous beach front, beautiful pools, and the best e-team ever! I taught Zumba/aqua Zumba on the beach daily, facing the ocean with participants in the ocean which was wonderful to keep cool in the intense heat since it was at noon. There was supposed to be a second afternoon aqua Zumba class at the adult pool, but that got cancelled because of other programming and the weather. The staff helped me set everything up and introduced and promoted my classes. On the last teaching day, the resort had less guests and I taught some kids programming which included one stretch class in the morning and an afternoon kids zumba in the kiddy pool. We stayed on the family side, and had access to the adults only side as well (kids had to stay on family side though). I loved it at Hilton LA Romana, and I would encourage you to book this resort if you have not tried it!

Taught Group Fitness and Kids Programming. Kids' Stretching was held in the garden near the Kids' Club. Boot Camp was held on the Adult Beach in front of the pool. Staff provided yoga mats, towels and the loud speaker for boot camp. fter traveling to multiple resorts through Fit Bodies, I can honestly say this was the BEST experience I've had as far as resort staff and the entertainment team. The ET was very organized, participated in all of my classes, friendly, and professional. This was, by far, one of my favorite resorts and locations I've traveled to. VERY kid-friendly, especially since we stayed on the family side and the resort has an amazing waterpark. All classes were well-attended with never having less than 10 people.

The E Team was great. Always setting up and taking down and participation in each class. Another great teaching vacation. The staff at Hilton La Romana were very helpful and personable. I taught 2 Yoga classes (45 minutes) each day, 9:15 am and 5 pm. Beautiful resort.

Amazing, the entertainment team is very active and involved, they welcomed me and promoted my classes, never before have I had this much participation for classes. Zumba on the beach was the highlight each day, the energy was fun and exciting I appreciated all the support and got to dance with the team. I can't wait to come back again. Overall the resort is beautiful and has lots of activities throughout the day and several pools, the spa was a great place for quiet retreat with a waterfall and walking paths very tranquil atmosphere. Daily I would go there in the mornings and practice for my classes. A great variety in the restaurants Chinola was our favorite but we had plenty of choices. Every trip is a great experience and I wasn't sure teaching classes at noon during the middle of the day was a good idea but the ET had perfected the amount of fun the guests look forward to being in the ocean and dancing. 50 plus people dancing with you smiling is the best appreciation I can ask for. The 4pm class couldn't compare maybe 1-2 people would dance or just watch, then I had the kids in the kiddie pool. The kids have a lot of activities throughout the day as well and that was fun as well. I'm still coming down off my adrenaline rush of excitement from my teaching vacation. I can't wait to book another one, I've never visited the same resort twice but this may be the one I come back too. I fell in love with all of it. Thank you La Romana and Thank you Fit Bodies.

I taught yoga, general group fitness, and aqua programming. The Staff are wonderful - really helpful and participate along with helping to promote classes. This all worked really well!

The entertainment team was the best I've ever experienced. Super organized. Set everything up for me every day. Cleaned everything up for me every day. Got waivers signed. Promoted my class. Took the class every day. Phenomenal! Only correction would be that the paper flyers had my correct teaching time. The Hilton La Romana daily activities/information website had one yoga class listed as 15 minutes long and the other listed as 25 minutes long when in reality they were both 45 minutes. Otherwise just a perfect working relationship with the Hilton entertainment staff. They treated me with so much love and respect! And by the end part of the week I had over 30 people attending! This was an amazing teaching vacation. I loved the resort! They gave me an awesome room. Everyone was beyond friendly. The water is as turquoise as it gets. Everything was SOOOO clean and everywhere you went you could see people cleaning something at the resort. The entertainment staff was the friendliest, hardest working team I've encountered and their fluency with English made it so easy to build rapport. I also loved having two other FitBodies instructors there too--- Sheri for Zumba and Natalie for Pilates. Thank you!!!!

Yoga was on the spa lawn and kids club areas. It was difficult to make first contact with entertainment team manager, but so eventually met Freddie, the assistant. I did not meet Maria the director until near the end of my stay. The whole team went out of their way to make me feel welcome and part of their group! The resort is first rate! Food, rooms, activities - everything was amazing!! The fun team were always on time and had mats and towels ready for every class. They participated in every class and were very good at encouraging people to attend. I'd love to go back to this resort any time!!

Great class attendance for Zumba. Used my ipad to the aux cord to their speaker on the beach. The entertainment staff was awesome and kind. Promoted the classes a lot and treated me as a star. Highly recommend. I really appreciated the opportunity to teach at Hilton La Romana! I will be doing another one pretty soon! Thank you!

Great resort for teaching yoga! Great staff - Maria, Pablo, Yleana and the whole entertainment team. Classes are on the spa lawn and beach. I am looking at booking again in 3-6 months. Thank you!
